Village of Sanford Park

This area and the park were completely wiped out by the dam breach in 2020, as the dam is at the rear of the park. The park was completely stripped, including trees, buildings, sod and even the sidewalks. The volume of water from 4 lakes hit this park when the berm right on the other side of the Tittabawasse river failed.
It is now almost completely rehabilitated and is going to be a showcase for the Sanford area. Currently closed but expected to open by summer of 24. New diamonds, pavillion, playground, fishing, boat launch and landscaping, along with repaved and extended loop through the park.
Expect a beautiful recreational park with an adjacent rehabilitated Sanford.

Nice little Town that I take care of

A small park with access to the dam and tittabawassee river. Ball diamonds, two playgrounds, drinking fountains and walking trails are all at this park. The only downside is that there are only porta potties.

Sanford does alot to keep the parks clean and enjoyed by everyone. Fishing is great. Dog friendly down trails and railtrail.

Going today!! Fishing Again, Sunday fun!! Ppl were swimming,a girl was stuck in the damn nearly drowned- she is ok ITS POSTED NO SWIMMING!

Attended a cool car show in this park. It was nice to drive through, really smooth not as bumpy as other parks I have driven on.

Great to see the town bounce back from the flood. Serious clean up on the bike trail going on now

Water park was the best thing that was built. My grandchildren had their best day ever. Had lunch too..

Love to fish, great fishing here. Also well maintained ball fields, play area, and park in general.

Great place to take your family to a park for a picnic, maybe a game and some river fishing.

Great spot for fishing and just relaxing. Great overview and great park in the neighborhood.

The beach is great one thing you dont have to worry about is being robbed or anything the have enough police walking around to assist you ..
