Best Western Harbour Pointe Lakefront

My wife, 3 children and myself loved our experience at this Best Western. We had a clean spacious room. Woke up and got a free shuttle ride up for breakfast. Breakfast had many options and decent fresh coffee. Employees were friendly and available if we needed them. We will definitely stay here on our next trip.

We loved our experience at the Best Western in St. Ignace! The water views from the Ontario building were absolutely stunning! We had a beautiful view of the sunrise. They offer a shuttle to the Mackinac Island Ferry as well. There were lots of bugs on the outside of our sliding glass door, so you had to be careful about going outside at night, but there was a note in the room warning guests about this. That's not something the hotel can control, so it was nice that they had a warning! Highly recommended, and we'd definitely stay again!

This hotel was a pleasant surprise on Lake Huron. My husband and I were in the Huron Building with balcony facing the lake. Our room was spacious with mini fridge and microwave. Beds were comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water. The breakfast was yummy with plenty of options. The staff was friendly and courteous. Will stay there next time we are in St. Ignace.

Staff excellent. Hot tub and pool area very well kept. Clean , reasonable price, close to ferry. They do have a complementary breakfast. We just had coffee as we wanted to get to Mackinaw island asap as we slept in. Would definitely stay there again right on lake had a nice room with a view and they have a bonfire at night

Great location - easy walk to restaurants and (Shepler's) ferry. The view, which included Mackinaw Island was amazing, as well. Great place to wade into the waters of Lake Huron, which was quite refreshing.

Good value as compared to staying on the island even when considering the additional cost of the ferry.

The rooms were perhaps a bit dated, but very clean and quite spacious. Breakfast was just okay, but there was a very nice gentleman that shuttled people around in the morning on his golf cart. Even though it was an easy walk, we rode a couple of times just to enjoy his company.

Despite having a wedding on Mac Island, we decided to use our money more wisely, vs the crazy ridiculous prices they get on the island. We are SO glad we stayed here!
We splurged for a room right on the water. It was huge!! We didn't use the indoor pool/ hot tub but did enjoy the outdoor ones. Just wish they didn't close it at 10pm. Evening fire and fitness room were nice bonuses! Golf cart taxi throughout the property with a super nice veteran retiree telling stories. Decent breakfast on-site. Would definitely stay here again!!!

The rooms are clean and affordable. Right next to the lake so also have amazing views. They have bin-fire at nights with s’mores. They also provide amazing breakfast buffets. Will definitely stay at the hotel again when I visit.

Nice clean rooms. What a comfortable bed. Parking is good. Pool was good. Nice location on lake. Breakfast was ok but I do not expect much from motel breakfasts. Great place to stay.Nice selection of coffee and tea.

Had a great experience at this hotel. Very close to all the activities and ferries to Mackinac Island. The rooms are spacious and clean. Service is top notch and they’ll go out if their way to ensure your stay is great. We stayed in the Ontario building and I couldn’t recommend it make. Right on the beach, quiet, and fresh. The grounds also has all the amenities you’d need - two pools, fire pit, playground for the littles, complimentary breakfast, fitness center, free wifi , and a shuttle to take you a short distance to breakfast in the mornings. I very much enjoyed my stay and will return again!

Love it for the price. Rooms are nice, we got a bottom floor walkout patio room. The lake was about 100 yards from the patio. They didn't give me any problems with my service dog and the staff was very kind.

August 2023 Fantastic hotel! Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, beautiful location right on Lake Huron. We loved the bonfire and free smores down by the rocky beach at night. Sid, the golf cart shuttle driver, was super friendly and the kids just loved him! Even after we left, the kids talked about Sid the rest of our vacation. Highly recommended!

I was very reluctant to book a Best Western Hotel based on it being a low end chain. This hotel though is brand new and very nice. We booked the king suite with lake view and I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend this hotel.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in for quite awhile. Everything was perfect. Very friendly, great location, room was very clean and the view was awesome, breakfast was great and the dining room staff did a great job. We were 1 block to ferry(Mackinaw Island) and the shuttle was there quickly to take you to the ferry. Highly recommend. Thank you folks for making our vacation so special.

This is a great hotel to stay at with your family or on a romantic getaway. First and foremost, the service is excellent. Every employee that we spoke to was very helpful and very friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy as guests. They have two pools and two hot tubs (inside and outside). The indoor pool and hot tub are not wheelchair accessible in case that something that you need. Also, with accessibility, not every building has an elevator. We stayed in Ontario which did have an elevator. The views are beautiful. We had a lakefront room and it was awesome. They have a bonfire every evening and the breakfast was good. They also have a playground for the kids and plenty of places for the kids to run around outside.

Beyond our expectations. EXCELLENT. Wonderful staff, efficient, pleasant, great room. Dining room ladies-exceptional. THANK YOU, For a great several days. See you next year

Super clean and a beautiful location. Front desk is cheerful and helpful. The continental breakfast is good food, but could definitely use more space. It was a lot going on it one room for the amount of people there are, but that’s great that their business is growing. The staff everywhere were very professional and over the top helpful. Can’t wait to stay here next year.

First off I want to say thank you to all the staff. Cooks, cleaners, front desk, the ones stocking the towels and the sweet man who drove us back and forth to breakfast. You all made our stay feel like home and it was a great mini vacation. The room was nice and clean, comfy with such a great view. We really didn't want to leave. The yummy breakfast in the morning was so nice. Yummy coffee and so many choices for everything. My kids were in heaven too. The pool and hot tub were great. The only downfall was out of the hotels control (the gnats outside) !! Even with them buzzing around we fully enjoyed our stay. Definitely a great place for family's with kids❤❤. Thanks again. Room was very spacious and had a perfect view of the lake. Friends enjoyed the bonfire, pool and we even had fireworks. Bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in at a hotel!

Very nice hotel. We had a what felt like a brand new room. Staff was very good at taking care of guests.
The only problem was waiting for a shuttle that never came to take us to the Bridge walk. There's some wrinkles that need to be ironed out in that process.

Great place to stay in St. Ignace! Clean rooms and friendly staff. Love that the pools are open late and there is a bon fire each night. Only thing I would recommend to them is to update the outdoor lounge chairs for the pool 👍
