This has quickly become a new favorite restaurant of mine! Every dish has been delicious. Olga has been so welcoming and friendly each time I’ve been in. This time I asked her to surprise me with a dish and she did not disappoint! She treated me with what I was told was her original signature dish. A new favorite of mine. Glad to have such a unique tasty food option here on Wealthy St !

Such fantastic food!!! Fried plantains with a spicy slaw, shrimp gumbo, caribbean jerk chicken, and the drinks are corossol (tastes like a lemonade made with limes, good for digestion). The cheesecake is the best we ever had, like a nutmeg cheesecake with caramel/chocolate/toasted coconut on top!!!!!! On a side note, the owner came out twice and was the kindest person. Our server was caring and was so happy to hear how much we loved the food. My husband said this place ties with his favorite restaurant.

Decided to stop here for a Day date. We ordered Red Snapper a day an advance, the owner had it ready for us the very next day at the time we chose. The food was very good and flavorful. The portions were huge, I was full before I could finish my plate. The owner was very sweet and very accommodating. We need more authentic restaurant like this in Grand Rapids. I’m browsing the menu now preying on my next meal🥘 😋

I love ❤ this restaurant. Flavors are amazing. Owner is a sweetheart. It is a bit of a wait because she runs it almost alone but it's totally worth the wait. My personal favorite is the pasta!!!

What a charming spot in Grand Rapids. Olga greeted us at the door and her infectious smile and warmth set the tone for the rest of the evening. The food was flavorful in ways I wasn't expecting. We had the jerk chicken with red beans and rice and the coconut sauce was incredible. Additionally, we shared the appetizer sampler and the strawberry sauce made each bite delightful. Dessert was freshly made rice pudding (they ran out earlier but she made some just for us and Caribbean cheesecake. Unbelievable dinner and amazing service!

Such amazing food!!! I’ve tried a variety of dishes, but keep coming back for the gumbo & it never disappoints. Beware that even the lowest spice level is going to be pretty spicy. The owner is a gem and does an amazing job managing with limited help (I believe it’s just her and her daughter). You may have to wait a little longer for service, but if you go in with that expectation and can just relax and enjoy the experience, you will not regret it!

The owner Olga was su h a delight. Beautiful soul, positive vibe and a beautiful smile. Her gift in the kitchen and her personality was FANTASTIC! I felt like I was with a friend. Food delicious!!! Cooked per person's requests and taste bud's. Will definitely be back.

Worth the wait!!!! Give the staff a bit of time for good eats, no regrets. Atmosphere is calming, loving and light. My kid and I hadn't been out in a long while but she loved and remembered her past all-time favorite.

Have you ever felt like you were being hugged by a dish? The gumbo was easily one of the best meals I've had.
You can taste the love in Olga's cooking. The plantains, passionfruit drink, and rice pudding were extremely nostalgic for me. I already wanted to come back before I had even left. Olga is such a warm spirit and she took the time to chat with my family and I. This is my new favorite place, hands down.

Wow! 10 out of 10 I would highly recommend! If you are looking for a delicious authentic Caribbean food experience then look no further! The owner and her son made my wife and I feel like family! This small business is clearly driven by passion and love! I had the most flavorful tender Jerk Chicken w/Rice & Beans! Please put this place on your to visit list!

Olga is a precious lady who cooks delicious Caribbean cuisine. She chats with her patrons as if she's known them for years. She gives a personal touch to the service it's obvious she enjoys what she does and you will enjoy letting her serve you a delicious meal.

The food was excellent! The spice level can get out of hand, so I recommend starting at a lower than normal for yourself. The decor has a Caribbean flair and was clean and tidy. The environment is casual with take out orders coming and going. This appears to be a one person operation so do not be in a rush when visiting. The food is so good that it forgives any other sins. I appreciated all the vegetarian options.

New favorite place to eat when we drive through GR.

Stopped in before our stop to Sacred Springs down the street and we were glad we did stop. We ordered plantains and soup for appetizers, and the plantains are a must. If you’re not used to spicy food be careful of the slaw though. For entrees we ordered the curry goat and creole chicken. We couldn’t even take a pic before taking a few bites. If you’re not used to spicy don’t order above a level 5 and if you think ketchup has a bite order a 0😄.

This is homemade food made with love and we can’t wait to stop by again soon.

Where to begin with this place. Not only is the building one of a kind and so unique but Olga herself is the heart and soul of the place. I have never been taken care of at a restaurant the way she took care of us. She treated us like family, laughed with us, guided us in what to order, and even helped us choose the spice level she thought we would want. Guess what her suggestions were correct. Every single thing on the menu we ordered was amazing, there was not a single thing we didn't enjoy. When Olga says spicy, she means spicy and you should take her advice when ordering. I honestly can not wait to return to this restaurant. Not only is it a great place for lunch, and dinner but also a good hang out spot when they are not busy.
Olga thank you for every thing you do, I can't wait to come back and see you. You definitely made my first experience at your restaurant unforgettable!! ❤❤

Amazing is not strong enough word. We been trying to get here for a couple months now. Worth the wait! The goat was amazing the seafood gumbo was to die for! Broccoli sensation was incredible! Serenely try the ragu! The sauce is the best and rice and beans was just too much awesome!!

Absolutely DELICIOUS food. We got goat creole, Caribbean fried rice, curry, and pasta. Incredible flavors. We also got the mango papaya Haitian juice and it was so refreshing and yummy. Our first time here and we will definitely be coming back !!!!
