Love this place. Every time I go in there I learn so much and they are always so helpful with helping you pick out what’s gonna work best for you. Products are good quality products. Shoutout to hunter for helping me with some boots.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Chris did a great job fitting my ski boots, explaining everything he did so I could better understand the process.

Our family loves Boyne Country Sports for all of our ski/snowboard needs. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We were especially impressed with the support we received from Austin and Peter when resolving a payment issue. Their assistance throughout the process exemplified great customer service that is second to none.

Stopped in to the Brenton village Boyne store for the 1st time to shop for a new pair of snowboard boots for my college aged son. I was absolutely blown by how helpful and knowledgeable Nate was. He really knew the product & inventory, and went above & beyond to get my son a good fit My son even remarked on the way out the door "that was the best customer service I've ever experienced".

Holy customer service. I was taken care of by Peter, and when I tell you this man knows his way around skiing, that is no joke. I randomly called the store to see if they had a specific pair of ski boots I was looking for and they had them at one of their different locations. He was super generous and very knowledgeable over the phone, ended up shipping the boots I was looking at from their store in Novi. It only gets better from here. As I’m walking into the store, Peter greeted me from the outside and took me back to the back of the store to get fitted. Not only did he have the boots ready, he warmed up the liners specifically for me knowing I was going to be there within 30 minutes. He talked me through exactly how they should fit and feel and he was right on point. He even gave me tips about how to store them, wear them (tightness wise), and a great tip for transporting them. This dude has experience with multiple different type of skiing (downhill, park, racing), so he has a lot of knowledge about what type of boot you should get and how they should feel.

Let me end by saying this, I never leave reviews but after the fantastic customer service I received I had to give back somehow. I’ll be back again forsure. While it may not be the in-town family owned ski shop, he sure did make me feel like it. You got yourself a stellar employee who knows skiing like the back of his hand.

We just drove about an hour and a half, and had a great experience. We came rather late into the store hours and was greeted by a young man named Peter. He was extremely helpful and even stayed a bit past the store hours to help us. He was very respectful and we couldn’t have been happier with our first impression.

Peter was super cool and helped me out with a sick new skiing setup. Ask for him if you need your boots fitted! Austin also helped my buddy out with a new snowboard. Overall I highly recommend!! Great customer service and a beautiful store!

I am thrilled Boyne County Sports opened up close to home! Yesterday, I stopped in to see if there was any way they could fix my brand new boots that were wrecked by another store after they heat fitted them. The plastic has melted and buckled (also dropped off my skis for a tune up). Today, I received a call indicating that they had fixed the plastic and I was all set to come back and get them refitted! I am very impressed with such outstanding customer service on something they didn't even ruin! :)

Simeon and Austin are the absolute best. If you want people that want the best for their customers, are crazy knowledgeable and go the extra mile, then these are your people. We were blown away!

If you need anything outdoors, from winter to summer, fall to spring, this is the store you're looking for. Skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, and so many more things this store covers, will fascinate you as if you're a kid in a candy store for the first time. If you're looking for a personal expert experience with winter gear, you'd be ignorant to not go see Peter. This guy will take care of you and your winter needs like you didn't even know. Boots, bindings, skis, boards, etc, he has the knowledge and is just simply there to help you out. All around, Boyne Country Sports in Grand Rapids is a beautiful store, with very friendly and knowledgeable staff that will go out of there way to help you with your needs. It's easy to get to, and they work hard to get your gear ready for your adventures. Hands down, this is my shop, and I don't think I'll ever need another with the way they run their business. Hope this helps anyone looking for an Outdoors Shop in Michigan, because no matter where you're at, they are worth the drive!

Came in looking for an odd length screw for binding straps... they did not have what I needed (neither did the other 10 shops I tried) but they looked around their supply for 15 minutes before eventually fabricating something else that could work. Stellar service. Thanks, dudes!!!

Found biodegradable ski wax and a neat book, "The Man Behind the Maps: Legendary Ski Artist James Niehues." The lady working in the store was quite knowledgeable about skis, too!

Aidan was great! He was very knowledgeable with getting my kids fitted with JHAF and was very speedy and respectful of our specific requests. Will defiantly be returning!!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I was looking for a full setup of boots and skis. Seth was kind and knowledgable helping me find exactly what I needed. Would highly recommend.

Didn't buy anything but glad to know this store is here. We needed another sports store and this one was well organized and the salespeople we're great in answering questions.
