Maddox Family Drive-In

Located just a short detour off I-15, Maddox Family Drive-in offers a taste of homemade goodness and friendly service and is a must top when passing through Brigham City. Their thick, juicy burgers and crispy fried chicken hit the spot, complemented perfectly by their homemade root beer and creamy shakes. The Coconut Crème Pie or resistible with its flaky crust and creamy coconut filling, it’s a slice of heaven that’s not to be missed. Perfectly sweet and indulgent. After years of passing it on the Fruit Highway and hearing many friends rave over the food, we stopped in yesterday on our way home from Cache Valley.

We ordered cheeseburgers (with everything on it) a mini cheeseburger for our 4 year old, house root beer, peach pie and a container of rolls with the classic raspberry butter. Every bit was worth it! We even watched more local fresh peaches arrive on a truck as we waited for our food.

Service was kind, quick and helpful.

Everyone who lives in Utah or comes to visit should make this a must. The food is first class. Service is great. A reservation is highly recommended or expect a long wait.

What a relief to find this place. Friendly and fast staff. Better than average cheeseburger. Good fries and rings. Great shakes. Noisy location due to adjacent road. Room for one or two RVs in back of lot. Sit at outside tables for service if you don't drive through or drive in.

This place is amazing!!!. The food was super good and tasted amazing. The service was out of the world KEN the server was the best i’ve ever had he was so patient and very kind of you go here try to get him as your server. All of our stuff was amazing and tasted great 10/10 highly recommended to anyone coming through this area. Again thank you ken for the great service 👍!!!

The food is and always has been good, and if, on the rare occasion, it's not, they make it right.
Steaks are top-notch. Some people go to this, out of the way, restaurant just for the fried chicken, which is always consistently yummy.
The rolls are fresh and warm, the raspberry butter is fabulous, and they should just bring extra every time cause we're gonna ask.
The turkey steak is a specialty here, and the Maddox dressing is the perfect compliment to the big, breaded, square, ground turkey patty.
Salads are fresh. And pies and cakes are homemade.

The biggest drawback to Maddox, especially on weekends, is the wait. The waiting area was expanded several years back, I think it might be bigger than the dinning area...
For a large group or party, reservations are a must.

Maddox will forever have my heart with their bread and raspberry butter!

It's been a few years since we have been near enough to stop. The service was great and they're very efficient getting our order and food out to us. It's fun using the drive-in reminiscent of our parents "good ol days" experience. We will be sure to return again.

A cold day and I pulled in for a quick lunch. I stayed and ate because the server was so nice and the people next to me were so friendly. Also the best burger I have had in a while!

Seated quickly, served immediately, food was awesome, and took home a bunch of leftovers and rolls. Dying to go back and eat another 16 oz ribeye.

Great service and delicious food. This is a hidden gem. The rolls were perfect and I loved their raspberry butter. I was skeptical about the skinless fried chicken but it was delicious and juicy. The prime rib was also good. Everything I ate was good! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through the area.

I really don't think that you can go wrong with anything you want to try here.
You can also get their excellent food to go.

Or you don't want to dine inside their drive up section is a bit less fancy, but a great option as well!

So fun. I highly recommend all their chicken and any shake or malt. Their rolls come with some of the meals and they are divine. I try to stop here whenever I’m in Brigham City.

Some of our drove from West Jordan to celebrate the holidays by having dinner at Maddox and then going to Ogden Christmas Village. The food was wonderful and the service was amazing. We love visiting restaurants that allow you to make reservations to avoid long wait lines. Very satisfied.

Maddox Family Drive-In is super delicious! Their chicken baskets are amazing. Moist and tender lightly breaded chicken (breast, thigh, leg, wing) fries, yummy cornbread, warm soft dinner roll, top it off with their delicious strawberry butter and gravy. Their onion rings are crispy and delicious too. Their shakes and malts are super good. Their hamburgers and halibut sandwich are awesome too. Everything we've tried here is very good. We come here every time we're in the area.

My favorite place to eat when I'm traveling to Utah! The drive-in has the best food when you want something quick! The restaurant is amazing! The food, the atmosphere, the service, etc. It's all top-notch.

Hello Mgr David, we have been coming to Maddox for years, haven't had any bad servers there yet, but there are some servers that stick out and are worth giving a shout out, too. We had Conner as a server tonight. He was kind and gentle. It felt like he wasn't there to entertain or make jokes, but only to make sure we were taken care of. He didn't bother us too much and visited to make sure we were good, just enough. He was on point tonight. Shout out to Conner!!👍🏼

One of the few true drive inns left. Excellent food always. Always busy, try to time your visit, NOT right at noon, or you might have a hard time finding a spot. There are a few picnic tables for you to use as well.
