Porto Bello

We had our ceremony and reception at The Grand Harbourfront above Porto Bello. It was the exact style that my husband and I were going for. It is cozy filled with lights, beautiful brick, and the outside balcony attached to the venue was a huge bonus for our guest to be able to step outside for fresh air, play cornhole, smoke, etc. The characteristics of this building, with the touch of our own style/ décor was our exact vision. Nichol was also such a HUGE part in making our vision, and ideas come to life. She helped with all transitions throughout the day, stayed throughout the reception to continue making the night run as smooth as possible, and really just does so many things that we don't even consider behind the scenes. We got many compliments on the food from many of our guests, and our open bar was fantastic for those who chose to drink, and for those who just wanted fun mocktails. Thank you Porto Bello team for your hard work making our day so memorable and amazing! & thank you Nichol, your dedication to the place and attention to detail really made the entire day go perfectly.

Celebrated our 27th anniversary here. It’s our second trip and won’t be our last! The food is great. The atmosphere is nice. Some nights there is live music.

As new residents here in Grand Haven, we had to establish our "go-to" Italian restaurant, and we found it!! I had the pasta with vodka sauce, and it did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend this place for a dinner for two or ten.

We hadn’t been here for several years and everything was just as we remembered it. The food was served hot and we enjoyed our entrees. I had the shrimp scampi and the mister had chicken florentine. It was our anniversary, so we were offered a free dessert. The server recommended the lemon cake with raspberry drizzle. It was great! We were there on a Tuesday night so it was easy to get a table and there were several groups sharing delicious looking pizza. The atmosphere was charming with lots of Halloween touches.

I had quit coming here for dinner several years ago because the food was just not great. I've always loved the atmosphere and service. Well, in the last year or so every time I dine at Porto Bello it is exceptional! The pasta dishes are huge, tasty and well priced. We ate at the Bar area and the bartender was so efficient and fun. There were 5 of us and we had to talk two of them to come along. Well those two will be new patrons now - they loved their pasta dishes! Bravo!!

This place really nice. Great atmosphere and Service and the food is stupid good. In a 5 star way. Miles was our waiter and did a wonderful job and was very nice and easy to get along with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant to everyone.

The fish is meh at best... way to much breading... felt like a frozen food ... other than that.. the appetizer trio.. oh my lanta... so much calamari... delicious 😋...
The Ravioli dish was amazing as well.

This place is great! A simple but delicious menu that hits all the high notes of tasty Italian food. Don't miss the Powers pasta, an amazing dish that's big enough to share! I will definitely make this a must stop every time I'm in the area.

Great food, great service, and love the atmosphere! Super cool place. The Lobster and Crab Ravioli is amazing! It pairs very well with Tanqueray and Tonic with lime.

Honestly an amazing restaurant, it very Beautiful and clean. Although It is a little pricey, it is worth it. The food is absolutely delicious! The Shirley temple’s are also very great!

My name is Franny, I come from the Old World Italy. My first day in the United States has been magical at the Porto Bello. I knew this would be an incredible experience when the line was out the door on a Monday evening. The food was just as authentic as the food my great grandmother used to prepare before her passing. This hidden gem is like Little Italy in Grand Haven, I strongly recommend you come here. Thanks Porto Bello, you remind me of home!!!!

My friends and I found this place after attending Pride in Grand Haven this weekend. It was so fun!

We ate outside on the patio so I didn't get to see much of the inside of the restaurant, but the patio was very nice. I had a bikini martini and the chicken parm and it was delicious.

I can't remember our waitress's name but she was very sweet and kind. An order at our table was incorrect and she was so apologetic and took care of it immediately. We adored her!

I don't go to Grand Haven very often but if I make it back there again we will totally hit up Porto Bello. 10/10, definitely recommend.

Attended a wedding reception here. Beautiful room and outdoor space. The food was very good. The young servers stepped in and helped a few of the elderly guests to plate and carry it to their tables. I highly recommend this establishment.

Big portions, really good food!! I came out there 20 years ago and had their lobster and crab ravioli, and have been dreaming about it ever since!! It did not disappoint... Yummmm

Portobello's is a staple in downtown Grand Haven. With 3 dining areas including bar, dining room, and patio you can find a comfy seat to enjoy a wonderful meal.

Our go to is the Chicken Parmesan which has a very generous portion. We split a meal and still take home leftovers. We also love their italian tossed salad - simple yet tasty. A great start to any meal. The Powers Pasta has a creamy spiciness that is delicious. Many complex flavors that come together in a very delicious way.

Best restaurant in Grand Haven for sure. Anyone who disagrees is most likely a mediocre food critic lying for clout on Google Reviews and is objectively wrong. Great atmosphere, lovely staff and tons of delicious options for dinner or bar food. Cannot recommend enough, go here all the time.

Service is great and the food was wonderful. The live music was out of this world!
