Not many places left that have a special touch like this one. It feels like a classic toy store. I love the large selection of board games, and the friendly welcoming staff.

They have some great stuff in this store. Always something interesting to check out. We stop here every year when we come to visit relatives & pick up a new fish windsock to add to our "school". We get quite a few looks when we're camping & we have them "swimming" by the trailer.

Wow, what a cool store. And the workers are extremely helpful, not only knowing the products but also giving you the info you need to make an informed decision. This is a great little toy shop. Highly recommend

They were very helpful with selecting our first stunt kite. When there was a break due to manufacturer’s defect, they replaced the kite with no problems. We’ve loved flying the kite.

i live in Alabama, seeking a birthday present for my granddaughter in Grand Haven MI. and my son recommended MACkite for gift ideas. When I called MACkite, a very pleasant and knowledgeable young man name ETHAN helped me purchase a gift certificate. When he asked me for my home address to he could mail it, I told him that there wasn't enough time for the mail to get to Alabama and then back to Grand Haven for my granddaughter's birthday, so I asked if he could mail it to my son, and gave him the address. Ethan replied "I know where that is - I'll just drop it in his mailbox on my way home!" Now THAT is personal service ! ! ! THANK YOU ETHAN ! ! ! THANK YOU MACkite ! !

I first visited this store as a local teenager. 25 years later, I live 700 miles away and have 4 boys. When we come back to visit family, we always have to make a stop at MACkitet. And, I am still the one that always wants to stay a little longer. 😁
And, I love that the staff is always ready to show people (both kids and adults) how things work, or how to play a new game.

I definitely recommend making a visit.

They have a unique selection of old games I grew up with as a child as well as new games, also they have games on site that you can play with the employees so you can learn how to play them

I was attending the kite fest last Sunday and was told about Mac's. I went in looking for a 2 line kite just to be curious. Ethan came up to me and started explaining the kite options. Ethan asked about my skill level and recommended an air foil kite. I decided on the kite and started talking to Lynn. I was concerned that I was going to break it first time out as I never flew a two line kite before. Lynn calmed my fears and explained everything I needed to know about my first flight. When I reached the beach, I was flying in a matter of minutes. Ethan and Lynn did an awesome job of educating me. Prices are also in line with online prices.

I had a ton of fun flying because two people took the time to share their love of kites. Just a few minutes of their time made my day.

A fun store. They have a great assortment of kites, from basic single line kites to fast duel line kites. Gliders, frisbees, and all kinds of cool toys for everyone. Also a very knowledgeable staff.

Cool selection of things, though expensive. Employees are nice here.

Best Toy Store!! MACKite is one of my favorite toy stores - they also have boards, kites, clothing, and fun miscellaneous. They have a huge variety of fun, new stuff and I literally never go in without finding something for my kids, myself or my husband. A great place to go when you need a gift - you will find something!!

Absolutely love this store. My favorite spot in grand haven. If you are looking for a new game but aren't sure what to get the staff will help you decide by showing you demos. You learn how to play the game before you leave the store, which is great!

Really great advice and service. The true testament for me though is that there was an issue beyond their control and they went to extreme lengths to get it fixed very quickly. I was really amazed by the service and definitely won't be shopping anywhere elsewhere for Kiteboarding equipment in the future.
