Stanz Cafe

10 stars for Stanz!! The place with the great food plans!! We stumbled upon this gem after my wife looked them up for a nice place to take the kids!! They had tv's with a fireplace. comfy settings and our personal fav. the bottom of the blue ocean and the staff was so kind and friendly and attentive in every which way possible!! There for a quick bite!! Will be back many times after and this is why we go on adventures!!!! Get in the car!! Sing with the fam!! And grab a bite at one of the coolest cafe's in Grand Haven!!

My husband and I visited this restaurant before heading home from our anniversary vacation, and let me tell you!!! The food was the best breakfast I've had at a restaurant! The staff treated us with the friendliness you would expect from close friends!! It was clean, comforting, and just an overall exquisitely amazing experience!!! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Everyone was very nice. Our food was way better than I expected. The coney dog was very good, it used german sausage instead of regular hot dogs, that was a nice twist. It was a little dark in there for my taste, but that didn't hinder my experience.

Love the food, drinks, and service at Stanz Cafe in Grand Haven. This last time, we had the breakfast (see photos), all of which was great. But the lunch and dinner is excellent, too.

Surprisingly, very good food. Only things I’d change are the tables and chairs are outdoor and you can’t sit close to the table on account hitting your shins on the leg supports and I’d turn the overhead lights on. The bright lights reflecting in from the windows makes it impossible to see. Pretty annoying to move about the restaurant or talk to others at the table if you’re the one facing the windows

Great food, great service, friendly and extremely accommodating. Simple decor, but we were there for the food! Great Polish plate.

Grand Haven is my home town. I returned this week to visit and enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Stanz Cafe. They offered breakfast all day. 7 people in my party loved their meals, and the waitress was very helpful and friendly. Great variety and nice atmosphere.

Very good food and friendly staff. Much of their meat is fresh from Franks Market next door, you can taste the freshness! The corned beef is made onsite which is rare. It’s a small space so it can get busy but worth it.

Warm and comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff to great you right at the door! I visited for breakfast and the food was your average breakfast food, nothing stellar. I’d like to try their lunch/dinner menu in the future.

Really like this place, especially the food. The Greek Hash for breakfast was incredible, and the Chicken Marsala for dinner likewise. Great for locals who want a break from the tourists but if you're a tourist you may want to give it a try too. Just don't tell anyone.

We’re staying at the Grand Rapids State Park for a few days. We went here for dinner because it was rated so highly and, c’mon, Polish and Cajun?

The service was impeccable. Rather than us wait for a seat in the off- season bar side, the manager seated us in the on-season dining side near only one other couple. It was quiet, it was peaceful, and it was stellar. The servers that helped us didn’t forget us and were on top of everything. So was the food! It was quick, it was hot and it was good. They recommended the Chicken Marsala and it didn’t disappoint. Neither did the pierogi appetizer or the shrimp chowder side. You need to come here!

My husband and I came here for dinner and drinks for the first time about a week ago. The food was excellent as was the service. We came back for breakfast the following Sunday and our food, mimosas and bloody Mary's were excellent!

Great steak Johnny! Best delmonico I've had outside of Ruth's Chris No grizzle, perfectly cooked, tender and full of flavor, not over seasond or salty...
And half the price!

We had breakfast at Stanz, their hash browns are delicious. There were 6 of us, we loved our breakfast. Service was great! We will be back next time we are in Grand Haven.

Excellent Breakfast and New Orleans Gumbo. Will order the Polish food next time. We added the Stanz Cafe to our Restaurant list when visiting Grand Haven.

Came here for dinner after not going for several years, and was VERY impressed. Service is fantastic, and the food was awesome. We have tried breakfast here as well, and it is also great! Highly recommend.
