Really nice hike with some good views. Beautiful waterfall at the end. Easy to navigate and get to.

Great little hike to a beautiful falls. As of July 8, 2023 the falls are roaring and not easy to play in. Beautiful and refreshing nonetheless. The hike is moderately steep, 840 feet in 1.5 miles, enough to make a weekend warrior breathe heavily. A few narrow spots and steep drop off sections made me pause and walk closely with my kids. The old cars along the trail are fun for kids to find if they need a distraction. It is well used as Saturday morning we saw over 50 others, many with dogs on leash. The growth on the sides does cramp the trail in places so long sleeves and pants may be helpful for sensitive skin. It also has spots of overgrowth above which is a nice shady reprieve from the relentless sun. As mentioned by others, previously the only way down to the waterfall was a rope and steep repel down a rock and root strewn path. Now there is a trail to the right before the rope that is much easier to traverse, and my 7 and 9 year olds managed it without too much sweating on my part.

Update: a new path has been created to get to the base of the falls. I didn't see it until I was heading back up, but I marked it with a metal brace (pictured, looks kind of like an F) and there's also some balanced stones nearby. So much easier go go down this way especially when it's muddy! Gorgeous hike.

Small parking lot and narrow road to the trailhead. Wear good shoes. A rope takes you to the base of the falls so be careful and go at your own risk. You can also go above the falls, but again be careful.

Great hike plenty of shade. There is a repel to the waterfall which is running extremely fast and it's very slippery as you descend to the falls. 3 old vehicles along the trail. Plenty of people but at times you do feel alone on the path.

We made it, took about an hour and half with my 4 year old. Great hike for beginners to moderate skill levels. Narrow path with great views. Sudden drop offs and steep slopes present so, watch the little ones. And bring some gloves to climb down to the water fall, not much room to relax when you get down there either.

Totally worth the hike just for the hike itself but the waterfall is the cherry on top.
Bring water and sunscreen as you're in and out of the shade.

Very well established trail and easy to find trailhead. Google's driving directions to the trailhead is accurate. Pretty sights to see.

The trail was beautiful, a little snowy in places, but that's almost definitely all melted by now. Super nice having the dirt road on both ends of the trail.

A warm afternoon drove us to this trail. I've been wanting to hike this for quite sometime. It did not disappoint. I think with the Spring thaw the water was flowing hard. Beautiful Spot!

Easy hike, lots of shade (depending on time of day) waterfall is beautiful. Check out the smaller tiers around the bend.

Great hike to a cool waterfall. Early spring, plan on 1.5 miles extra when the gate is closed

A beautiful trail with some interesting vintage car (wrecked) along the way. A beautiful waterfall, and some hidden gems of campsites along the way.

Absolutely gorgeous! Repelling down to get to the actual waterfall was a little sketchy, but the rope was sturdy and it is doable. The hike itself was beautiful, not too tough and it was fun seeing all the cars!

It is very difficult to hike down to the falls for the last 40ish feet but very worth it!

This not so steep hike is one of my favorites. The rope climb down to the waterfall is a little sketchy but fun. Be careful of the poison ivy near the beginning of the hike just after the "cave".

Not too difficult, perfect amount of shade & sun, just bring water! Someone added a second rope so you don’t have to use the sketchy one👏🏼 Tip: slide on your bottom using the rope to support you on your way down and it’s an easier way down
