Kyma Greek Cuisine

To start this is a great place. They were super accommodating to our group and we had a great meal. We started off with the meatball and the feta and olives. Both were fantastic appetizers with a ton of flavor. Next we both decided to enjoy the chicken and lamb platters. The platters were priced very well and had a ton of food included. It was the best value on the menu and delicious. Overall it was a solid night out with friends and I definitely would go again.

Upscale Mediterranean cuisine including excellent falafel, chopped salad, and eggplant spread. While a favorite for take-out, the dining room is big, bright, and festive and worth a trip. Greek salad isn’t bulky, but rich and well-dressed. Wide tea selection. Service a little slow during off-peak hours, but the food is well worth the wait.

Stunning atmosphere. From the moment we entered the staff was so welcoming. The place was packed, and they never skipped a beat! The waitress & staff was so helpful, making us feel so welcomed. Even the owner came over to see how everything was. From the appetizers to the main course, and even the dessert everything was so fresh, tasteful and delicious. My overall experience was awesome and can’t wait to go back to tryout more dishes. I would definitely recommend.

Brought my family here for my birthday and everything was absolutely perfect. Big thank you to our host Andre who was a gentleman that made my family feel relaxed when he started speaking in Spanish because he picked up that their English was rusty. The service was amazing, the food was absolutely delicious as always. 10/10 would recommend. We've been here quite a few times and always left happy.
Everything we've tried so far is delicious. The day boat octopus was tender and flavorful. My husband had the lamb souvlaki and I had the lamb chops with Greek fries. We shared and enjoyed both very much.

The service was great. Pita bread and spread were on the table as soon as we sat down. The waitress was friendly too.

The place is nicely decorated and has indoor and outdoor seatings.

It's definitely a fun place for a date night in Somerville.

Location and decor are really nice! It feels like home and smells like heaven 😁

Food:

Spicy feta dip has a kick for sure but really good.
Calamari appetizer is absolutely amazing with balanced flavors and perfectly cooked. Same goes with the fish. I had pink snapper which is something uncommon and really special. Served with asparagus which was delicious!

Service:

Friendly and welcoming. However, on a Tuesday night it was relatively empty and the food took about an hour. They warned us it would be a while and tried to accommodate us. The food was worth the wait and to die for.

Justin, our server, was wonderful and a real gem 💎 just like this restaurant.

Good food, friendly service, ambient and cozy atmosphere, with fair price. We've been here for weekday lunch and weekend dinner, the quality is consistent and the service is always good. They have a lot of good appetizers, great way to try and also very generous portions. The calamari is better than high end seafood restaurants by the shore. Great place for any occasion !

Met with my sister here for lunch. I was visiting her from Manhattan. It's walking distance from the station. Really cool spot. I stopped by Vintedge for a bottle of orange wine. This place is byob, which is great. Our server was informative and attentive. Food was great. Had the Chicken Souvlaki ... A+++! The mussels with chorizo...so good! I miss Somerville. Attended Somerville Middle School in 1995. Main St has evolved since then! So much variety of cuisine now. I love it.

Great food, great service, the fresh warm pita is a huge added plus. I had the salmon and the portion is large, the entire dish is well seasoned. Highly recommend!

Great ambience & amazing food. Fresh ingredients and unique choice of entrées & appetizers. Their dips were great with bottomless pita. BYOB place which makes it even better to accompany the wine of your choice with the meal.

I went to Kyma with my girlfriends today. It is an amazing place to hang out with friends a d family. The food was very fresh, the portions were pretty decent and the people working were very pleasant and great and the best was that they served us with a smile. I am a vegetarian and I too had lots of options that were great. The ambiance was amazing and welcoming. Reasonably priced too. The overall experience was amazing. I highly recommend this.

The food was so delicious. I had a special which was Black fish, Shrimp, Clams and Mussels in a red tomato sauce on rice. The portion was large and the chef didn't skip on anything. My wife, son and his fiancée also loved the food. From the time we were greeted at the door and the service were superb. Everyone at our table agreed the food was prepared to order, it was fresh and very delicious. I got the Baklava and was the best I ever had.

Stopped here for lunch, we were seated immediately. Cozy environment, amicable staff. I love gyros so I ordered one. The portions here are pretty big so very filling. They start you off with some soft pita bread slices & a spread, delicious! We sat outside, this is definitely a cute spot if you’d like to try something different.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. John is an excellent waiter who made our visit that much better. I will definitely be returning. Everything is so tasty from soup to dessert.

This is as close to Greek experience as u can get. The lamb shank is tender tasty and seasoned just right. If u want the gyros combo dish is a bit too Americanized for me. Greek don’t eat fries and where is the olive in my salad? The dessert menu should have frabbe the Greek style national coffee.

Never had a bad meal here.

Amazing spread of pita dips. The dips also change from time to time! I love trying them. Beet is my favorite.

Nice variety of food choices.
The mussels are cooked in a chorizo cream broth! Perfect for dipping!

The rabbit is really good here. I have gotten it many times. Must try~

The lamb shank is fall off the bone good. Cooked very thoroughly

The xrino me meli is also fall off the bone good! Pork shank also served with graviera polenta. The graviera polenta is my favorite thing to eat actually.

Not really a fan of the desserts but that doesn't really count against them..... I'm always WAY to full from the food to care for ordering desserts!

Delicious Greek and Mediterranean food, friendly service, and nice atmosphere. I have dined here 3-4 times now over the past several years and I always leave thinking about when I will return. I don't live or work near Somerville or I would eat here far more often, but any time I am in the vicinity I try to stop here. Highly recommended.

Wow! Best Greek restaurant! This is our second time there and the food was amazing both times. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our friends said the lamb kebab was tender and flavorful and the shrimp was a true Greek meal. The atmosphere was comfortable, the service was good, The music was a bit too loud but the food was so great It didn’t bother me. We see ourselves becoming regulars there.
