What a delight is was to dine here. The food was amazing. Try the Peking Duck salad, and you won't regret it. The combination of flavors has me craving more. The Chilean Sea Bass was quite good as well. I dined alone. But, it's a great date night spot as well. Well done, Somerville! Just quality.

Saturday night on Division Street is always a good time. There was live music that night and we got to restaurant 15 mins before it started. They were able to seat us inside even though we did not have a reservation. The hostess and wait staff were pleasant. My mom and I shared appetizer sampler, Chilean sea bass and grilled chicken. The food was very well prepared and portion sizes were great. Loved the sauces that came with grilled chicken. Our waiter was not familiar with the menu as I had to point out our selections to him and he also could not tell us what the sauces were except cilantro (he thinks). Also, it was pretty dark inside.
Otherwise this was a very enjoyable meal and look forward to eating there again.

We ordered baby back ribs, bangok duck and massanan curry, fried ice cream, it was perfect and exceeded our expectations. Can’t wait to come back again!

The restaurant is absolutely wonderful for lunch. The staff was personable and very helpful. The food was spectacular. Not too much just right on portions. The chicken papaya salad was fantastic. Personally never thought of using a green papaya. A definite place to bring clients, friends and coworker and have lunch !!

Found this place by accident but let’s just say, As soon as you walk in the ambience is so relaxing. The waitress helped us out with some of the dishes. Even though she ordered me the wrong dish! It was so worth her mistake. The food was amazingly delicious and so flavorful. Let’s just say we were so full but we had to eat it all! Definitely have to go back to tryout other dishes.

We love getting authentic Thai food here. The food is fresh, delicious and comes as a good sized portion. You can customize based on the meat option you want or get a vegetarian option. They even made someone we went with fried rice with beef, which was not on the menu. It's BYOB so plan to bring your own if you want alcohol.

Big fan of this Thai place in Somerville. I always try to come here when I am in town! I like that they have a smaller menu, but more focus on what they make. The pad Thai is the perfect blend of savory and tang. Golden curry puffs and chicken satay are always a favorite. It was a beautiful afternoon, so I sat outside with a friend, but the beautiful interior is suitable for groups and different occasions! Highly recommend everyone checks this place out.

We went on a busy Saturday night .. we had 5pm reservations and the place was already packed.
3 ppl for dinner. The staff was great. We ordered a lot of food and I will say the escargot was my absolute favorite ! All the food was delicious but again if you like escargot then order this here

Such delicious food and great atmosphere. The coconut rice wrapped in banana leaf on the side of my dish is the best I’ve ever had. Try the affogato for dessert!

Food was outstanding and I cannot wait to return. Had a reservation but didn't need one, it wasn't overly busy at 6:30. They did bring out one of the dishes with shrimp instead of beef but they quickly fixed the mishap. Love that it's BYOB!!

First time here..been to the other location in basking ridge. It's a BYOB. Loved the food. Although the tuna appetizer was a bit small for the price. Everything else was good proportion and taste was wonderful. Ingredients were fresh and spice levels matched what was requested.

Origin is one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever had - and I've been to Thailand! The dishes are all superb, the nicest service, and a romantic ambiance that more restaurants ought to emulate. Super worth it!

Best Asian food around. Their sauces are extraordinary. I love their salmon with baby shrimp and spinach (see photo). My wife had the sea bass with a delicious sauce and sticky rice.

We began with our favorite --- Chicken Satay with a peanut sauce (see photo).

Stellar French-Thai fusion that might be the prime jewel of Somerville. We moved here from New York recently and Origin French Thai is competitive with the best joints in Brooklyn, and is a notch above the average dinner menu. Fantastic monkfish with mushed potatoes and mushrooms, amazing salads, luxurious vegetarian spring rolls, fabulous Pad Thai. Subtle flavors, gorgeous palate, comfortable dining areas, including outside. Bring your own bottle of wine (they can keep white wine chill).

First - the street is blocked off from traffic, so only pedestrians are allowed - that's a great start. The ambiance in the restaurant is great and the service was good. We had thd crab/shrimp spring roll appetizer and were really surprised and pleased with the presentation - the entire inside of the spring rolls (4 of them) were solid shrimp and crab! I could have made a meal with just them. The other appetizer was the marinated seared tuna (5 pieces) with a salad? on the side which was also great. Dinner was Pad Thai which was one of the best I've had.

Heads up! This place is BYOA (bring your own alcohol). They do mention this online, but I wasn't paying attention. Don't make the mistake I did and ask for a drink menu only to have them tell you they don't serve alcohol.
If you want alcohol but didn't bring any, there is a liquor store just around the corner; a three minute walk.
As for the restaurant, it was excellent! We went for our anniversary and weren't disappointed.

Owner of a nearby store recommended this restaurant. His enthusiastic recommendation was met with agreement from other patrons. We agree that the food, price, and ambience are perfect for a date or grown up gathering. The pad Thai was nicely spiced. The filet mignon was flavorful and cooked to my liking. It was served with a trio of sauces. All enhanced the meat. We can't wait to return.

We ordered the Red Curry with chicken and Crispy Duck with Tamarind sauce. Both dishes were so good and full of flavor.

The crispy duck is one of the best duck dishes I have found in Jersey. It tasted very fresh and it was nice that they prepare it boneless. Highly recommend this place!
