Hy-Vee Grocery Store

Watching 2 yr old twins for about 1.5 hrs and entertained them in the produce dept. They liked seeing the huge inflatable of a scarecrow! Service staff in restaurant was very attentive to my needs when I needed milk for their bottles.

Always friendly service! Good quality Meats 🍖 and they usually🎉🎊 always have my creamer when Walmart is out 🤦‍♀.

It's usually upbeat and fun and most the employees are pretty great and they have really good food and I love their seafood and meat Department. They are however fairly expensive. depending on what I'm getting I will go to fairway or Walmart first for what I know is cheaper and then only Hy-Vee for if I have coupons or things are on sale or simply can't find it for anywhere else any cheaper. When I was an employee and got 10% discount it was much better and seem like that was more how price is should have been all along. But still management for the most part is really great also and it just is not exactly the best time for where I worked which was in home shopping and I started a few months before the first lockdown from the pandemic. One from super slow and usually getting out right on time if not early to insane busy all the time and always trying to call more people to come in on their day off and it just got to be ridiculous and too stressful for a part-time just above minimum wage but not living wage. There's usually opportunity for advancement if you are willing to start more than likely part-time and work your way up. And they have a 401k that's matched even for part-timers! It's a great company and it's a lot higher quality than a lot of places. Unfortunately it's prices are a little higher than I would like but it's hard to compete with stores like Walmart as far as prices go. But they do make up for it in service and quality. Walmart has the worst service out there, and for the most part it's low quality. I never buy meat at walmart!

Great service. Always fresh fruit and the meat is fantastic. I also love all the deals they have when I go in. I love this hyvee I don’t go anywhere else. I drive 30 minutes just to go to this hyvee🥰

High quality grocery store in Owatonna. People are able to recieve the COVID vaccine right at the pharmacy provided inside the store. I was able to get all the groceries needed with a wide selection of products! The staff is what made my experience even better. They were extremely helpful while being able to look for certain items. The parking at my time of the visit on a Saturday afternoon was wide open with multiple close spots available. While checking out my groceries, the cashier was super kind and was very easy to strike up a small conversation with while my items were getting rung up. The wait for the checkout lines was at zero minutes because of the great ability of the cashiers to keep all lines moving. There was also all of the safety protocols present for the COVID-19 to allow customers and employees to feel safe. Everybody shopping in this store were complying with every COVID-19 protocol the store set out and clearly states as you walk in. There were also multiple spacing protocols and physical barriers around the more high traffic areas. The cleanliness of the store was very great as well along with sanitizing checkout areas before the next person. Overall, I will definitely be stopping back to this Hy-Vee when I am in the area and need something quick! This is an easy five star grocery store, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

My family and I visit this location very often, and each time it's easy and organized items are always restocked and available. I usually find very nice seasonal items from local farmers. I would absolutely recommend 👌

The upstairs has a party room so you can make a reservation to have birthday parties or other celebrations graduations it comes the refrigerator and a stove plenty of countertop plenty of tables just bring your own decorations it does have an elevator for wheelchair accessibility

Wow...hyvee definately is under great management..from the customer service to the pharmacy, the meat department, bakery, deli and the employees were outstanding. Way to go

Good meat department, and clean facility. Really surprised that almost all the check out lanes are self checkout/manned. They could be either. Most self checkout lanes I have ever seen in a store. Kind of incredible, however that really lowers the random stranger (cashier/customer) interaction. All friends are strangers before introductions.
