Friendly staff.
The all you can eat option is great and makes the experience enjoyable to try new menu items. You'll pay $30 per person for the all you can eat option. You aren't required to do this as they also let you order regular menu items.

Sushi is always made fresh and service is quick! I highly recommend this location.

The food is brought out very quickly, and is very high quality, all you can eat is a very good value. I recommend this to anyone that wants to eat a lot of sushi, best salmon sashimi I have had. The hot sides are also very good, tempura is all right too.

One of my favorite local sushi spots - it's a sit down type of all you can eat/order type place. You have the option to order individual items as well as all you can eat options. It's a place I frequent with both friends and family. I enjoy ordered a massive plate of sushi, hand rolls as well as sashimi to share with the table. They offer a very wide variety of raw and cooked dishes along with vegetarian/vegan options. Staff is always friendly and the service is great, if you're in the mood for drinks you can always BYOB and they'll provide the glass ware for you at no extra charge. Great food and I highly recommend it!

We've been visiting this location for a decade, and their sushi quality has remained consistently excellent throughout the years. The pictures were taken on various occasions.

Great AYCE sushi! Service is quick and friendly -- just a warning though, if you order too much all at once, it might not all come (but they're trying to avoid food waste which I understand). The area it's in is very fun too so there's a lot to do before or after dinner.

I have been going to this restaurant for about a decade now and it never disappoints. Their sashimi is always fresh due to the amount of foot traffic and customers that come through here so you never have to worry if the fish they are serving you is old. On busy weekends during the peak hours you have to be strategic about coming in early or expecting a wait time otherwise. The staff is very attentive and it may feel rushed but remember they are operating at a high demand during peak times. For the other reviews that say they only served me this much etc. ... it's literally an ALL you can eat so just... order more??? That remark was just giving low IQ vibes.

I really love coming here for all you can eat sushi. The ordering system is very easy - just write down the number you wish to order next to the items that you want! There are a ton of food options besides sushi. You can order multiple rounds as long as you finish everything. I always bring my appetite and the food is made to order. I love coming here with my husband or a group, we always eat our fill.

The restaurant is located in downtown Somerville with easy access to parking lot and parking deck. Service is excellent and food is fresh with good quality. We have been to a few different Sushi Palace and really like the atmosphere of this one!

Wanted to write an updated review since reopening a few months ago. We have been back a few times since reopening and I've got to say I think it's even better than before.

Although much of the front of the house (servers/sushi chefs) staff is not the same as it was prior to being shutdown it does not detract from anything. The servers are still very friendly and responsive and I actually think the nigiris and rolls are a bit better now than they were previously. By this I mean there is less rice in the nigiris and more filling in the rolls. The sashimi is still just as good as it always was as well (mmmmm salmon). The plating is not the prettiest, but the food comes out so quickly. Some AYCE places take 30mins+ to get a plate of food so sacrificing some visual appeal for quickness is fine by me.

The ambience is still lively and crowded when going during dinner time, but again, that is something you either like about this place or not, and we like it.

Overall its a clean and fun place to go for a nice sushi meal. I would 100% recommend it to anyone in the area.

Great food and fresh sushi. Order fresh sushi, sashimi and tempura items. They serve soups too but I skipped them to eat more yummy sashimi. Very friendly staff. BYO so bring your own wine.

Friendly staff, quick service, and the sushi is pretty good too. Nice to see it crowded on a Saturday night. The food is still excellent and the service is fast. And still a good value for dinner.

This is hands down my favorite AYCE sushi place and I have been to about 6 different ones in the surrounding areas.

Atmosphere: My girlfriend and I always go on Sunday nights and the place is usually packed. I personally enjoy this as most other places are "dead" and not as vibrant. The seating area is a bit cramped, but I really don't mind and in fact I think it adds to the lure of this place.

Service: Although sometimes communicating with some of the servers is a bit difficult, it is not a real issue. Although the place is always packed, the service is extremely quick. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes for an order even at peak times which is a main factor to my 5 star review. Also, the servers are very attentive and generally upbeat.

Food: I have never really had sushi from a place other than an AYCE place so I may not be the best to compare it to other establishments, but I would only think it fair to compare to other AYCE places anyway. In that comparison I would say this place is near the top of my list. As someone who enjoys eating mostly sashimi and nigiri I would say that both are delicious. I also do enjoy the rolls, which I don't usually get very many. The selection is at least on par with most other places and offers more than others I have been to. Some of the rolls are a bit rice heavy and the plating may not always be "beautiful", but I am not one to put as much emphasis on those factors.

The #1 reason I will keep coming back to this place is the fact that it is truly "all you can eat". I have been to multiple other places that cut me off or stop bringing out the correct orders, but this place has never once done that.

All of these factors combine to make this my favorite sushi place and keep me coming back. I drive 1 hour to come to this place instead of closer places to put it in comparison.

I have attached pictures of our most recent trip to this place. Not pictured are some of the appetizers that were eaten.

Sushi Palace is such a comfort spot for me and my friends. Highly recommend it on the weekends -- however, it does get pretty packed. Definitely suggest you make reservations at least a few hours to even a day if you're planning on going on the weekends. Sushi & sashimi always taste fresh. Whenever I go, I always have to grub on AT LEAST two to three of their Spicy Seaweed Salad. My friends and I often take that 1.5 hour trek just for that alone. If you go here, ORDER WHAT YOU CAN EAT. Do not be wasteful and order a bunch. Servers have always been very nice, respectful, and most of all attentive.

I went with my family for a birthday and we were looking forward to an all-you-can-eat sushi meal. This place did not disappoint! I struggled a bit with understanding the menu cards but my kids explained it to me with great patience! We ordered several different rolls, sushi, and appetizers and everything was great! We were careful not to order too much because they (rightly) charge a penalty if you order more than you can eat. But we ate everything in front of us and enjoyed it tremendously. No kidding: this was the best sushi I ever had. Considering that it's located in the trendy Division Street area, it's a great experience and made for a wonderful birthday!

The sushi pieces and rolls and all the starters are very tasty. As can be at some all you can eat sushi restaurants, panko is not used as a filler in rolls, and the pieces are not small here! The rolls and individual sushi pieces are nice and big, and the presentation is thoughtful! The staff and service are great. We weren't made to feel guilty about how much we order, which I have also experienced at other places. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening of gluttony!!!
