Had a very nice time. We went to a small birthday party we enjoyed ourselves the food was very good some of us had Hibachi which was a fun experience as always. Some head the sushi rolls. And my daughter had the Japanese chicken tenders. It was very enjoyable we were in a private room as well

Updated review. Great meal and atmosphere. The cool put on a good show and my grandkids loved it. You won’t be disappointed.

Wife had Sushi. I had Hibachi. Very good. Large portions. Good value. Plenty of leftovers for both of us for lunch the next day. Only disappointment was we weren’t allowed to sit a Hibachi table because the wife was having sushi. Hibachi was cooked in kitchen and brought to our dinning room table. Dinning room was too quiet. Needs music, otherwise you can hear conversations at other tables clearly.
Bonus it’s BYOB.

Awesome hibachi restaurant in the heart of Somerville. The food is all fresh and prepared to perfection right on front of you. The they still go the extra mile for the show with some added pranks too. You will not be disappointed in your meal. The wait staff is friendly and attentive without hovering.

I went out to dinner with my kids and some friends, and everything was going smoothly. But here's the kicker: the hostess was incredibly rude. She kept yelling at her staff and treating them horribly. I felt terrible for them, so I decided to tip them extra. Then, things got really dramatic: she actually yelled at our server and tried to tell us that the tip was already included because we were a large party. We knew that wasn't the case, but she insisted on removing the extra gratuity from the receipt. I can't help but wonder if tipping extra is against the law for the hostess! Anyway, I hope those employees get a better boss soon.

Best hibachi in the area if you ask me, a self-proclaimed foodie. It’s always a quick wait if not being seated as soon as you walk on, the appetizers are amazing (recommend the monkey ball), the drinks, soup and salad comes out immediately and the cooks always put on a great performance and get the customers involved. We always end up making friends with the people who sit next to us because everyone feels welcomed. Also, don’t forget to get the fried ice cream before you leave ;)

First time having hibachi! It was a great and fun experience! Everything is delicious and fresh! The place is located on Main St., a cute neighborhood with many local stores! Service was great and place was clean! Recommended!

Went here for lunch for the second time and loved it again! We all had such a great time! The staff were welcoming and friendly! Cindy was so friendly and talkative to our shy toddler who just had to give her smiles and high fives when we were leaving! Our chef, Jack, was entertaining and fun! His food was top notch! From chicken to scallops to fillet to the rice and noodles- all delicious and in sizable portions for us to even take home! We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent! We visit this location many times for birthdays and family dinners. The service is very good, staff is always pleasant, the food is perfectly prepared and is also a BYOB restaurant! There is even a real koi pond inside the restaurant with live goldfish.

Your meal begins with a soup and salad that comes with a creamy tangy house dressing. Our family ordered the filet mignon hibachi, shrimp hibachi, scallops hibachi, chicken hibachi and salmon hibachi and we were very pleased with both the food flavor and large positions. Our chef did his spinning knives display and the onion volcano fire 🔥 with a test of alcohol strength when he squirts Sake in your mouth. If you celebrate a birthday here, the lights go down and a multicolor light comes on with birthday music while a piece of cake is brought to you. 🥳Tip: if you are celebrating a large party gathering of over 10 people, request the back corner room which gives privacy for your group and is great for party celebrations.

Overall a great experience and would highly recommend visiting. 👍🏼

First time in a hibachi,lucky me and my family the experience that we have was a good one,it was fun,the food was great, the show was awesome.
A little bit expensive the hibachi cost is a average of $30 per person but well worth the money.

We came for lunch today and got a teriyaki chicken box and the two roll combos. Both seriously inexpensive and really good. Between that and the appetizers it was both affordable and filling.
I’ve been coming here for a while and consistently refer people here for either hibachi or sushi, because it always comes out great.

Our family has been going here for years. If you like hibachi, you will like this restaurant. If you like sake, ask for Simon, he'll take care of you. Don't forget to tip.😀

The food was great. Went for a birthday as group of 6 people. They accommodated our BYOB, And served the cake that we brought. Our chef was nice and humorous.

Great location for hibachi meal, food never disappoints. If you want alcohol its BYOB there is a shop across the street. Fun place for a 🎂 birthday

Went on a Friday night about 515. We're greeted immediately and seated. Hostess and waitress were both attentive and accommodating. We had the hibachi filet mignon which literally melted in our mouths cooked to perfection!! We will definitely be back.

The Hibachi show was great. The flavor of the food delicious and the service phenomenal. I recommend Yutaka 💯%.

Went for dinner after work and thought it was amazing. I got the steak and shrimp hibachi with fried rice. The steak and shrimp were cooked well and both were really tender. The vegetables on the side were cooked and weren’t too crunchy. I’ve had an issue with a handful of hibachi places where the sauce is too salty since they usually add a combination of salt and soy sauce. But Yukata makes their sauce perfectly, in my opinion. The rice was to the side but also close enough where it somewhat soaked up the sauce. Very tasty and would recommend!

The soup and salad were okay at best, but our hibachi chef was great and the main course was DELICIOUS. The service was great and I will definitely return.

Who doesn’t like sushi? Somerville has the best Chinese/Japanese fare. Food good service average We would recommend it
