Red White & Que Smokehouse

First time visiting Red White & Que and I know for sure won't be the last! As soon as I opened the doors and walked into the restaurant the smell absolutely trapped me. The staff was extraordinary with the service and explaining the menu, super friendly and kind with a smile on. I had one of the combos for me and my family we were a total of 5 and a half (with my 15 months old son) 🤗 we all loved the freshness and flavors of each bite. The Mac and cheese 🤤 literally savoring now as I wrote just remembering the creaminess of it just like no other. The different variety of sauces to try with the different meats! They were all delicious. Definitely recommend 1000 %

The best BBQ in New Jersey. Absolutely amazing quality of the meats, excellent ambiance as well. The beef rib is as good as ones I’ve had at places in Texas such as Terry Blacks and 2M Smokehouse. The pork ribs are also one of my favorites. The pastrami brisket is delicious as well. If you have not yet been to Red White and Que give it a try!

It was amazing. Some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had. The beef rib was so amazingly good. I bought another one to take home to my family. The owner at the register was so friendly and nice. It was so great to see someone who genuinely enjoyed his work so much. Loved everything I ate, except for possibly the pulled pork, which, in this case, seemed a bit dry, because we had gotten a bunch of lean meat. Otherwise, brisket, sausage, beef rib all perfect. Sides were great as well. Lots of interesting sausage to try. Couldn’t ask for better barbecue place.

Red White & Que ! I heard about you through a family member and I happened to be in the area so o decided to try it out. I read some of the reviews as I usually do and I saw that the turkey sandwich was highly recommended. I was not disappointed! I ate half in house and took the other half to work for lunch . The turkey was so tender, I was biting straight through it with ease .😭 I paired it with a side of Mac and cheese and a quarter rack of ribs (3). The meat on the ribs was good as well but the sauces that are available really carried the flavor out of the meat! The Sweet Sweet Que was my favorite sauce but the others held their own (Mustard Vinegar, Devil Dogs Spit, Alabama White , Pepper Expresso, and Kearnys Revenge). The staff was very friendly and checked on me multiple times throughout my visit which might not happen all the time because they weren’t as busy yet but I’m sure they try their best to anyway! Thank you for the experience and I will be back! I also need to take a better picture next time the turkey didn’t get to shine in the one I posted.

Very friendly staff. Specifically asked if either of us was a veteran really started off with good vibes. Food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious!
The Texas Trinity comes with 1/4 rack of ribs, 1/4 lb of brisket, a link of the jalapeño cheddar sausage 1 side & 2 rolls. Plus we got an extra side and had to try the spicy house made pickles and chili. Check out the video of the juiciest ribs. Total cost about $50 and it was food for at least 3 people. Highly recommend!

Hands Down Some Of The Best BBQ out there! I live 40 mins away and it's worth the drive everytime!! ( side note i live within walking distance to a different bbq spot went once and never again ) I Have No Problem Driving 40 Mins For Amazing BBQ From Red White & Que Smokehouse!

We ordered the family combo, in order to try a little of everything... they did not disappoint. My favorite item may be the Pastrami and Brisket. Can't wait to go back.... just need to finish all the leftovers first. 😅

Growing up in New Jersey we frequented Texas Weiner, the old establishment that was here before Red, White and Que. Fast forward to living in Florida for the last 20 years and working for a reputable barbecue joint put this place on my radar. Going back was nostalgic for me. Many memories eating chili dogs and this place. Now it’s home to phenomenal barbecue.

Right away I walked in and saw the 3 Oylers these guys are cooking on. That told me right away these guys do it right. We ordered the barbecue platter and what a platter it was. Generous portions and amazing meats. The brisket and pastrami were top notch. Easily comparable to any of the big guys in the south or Texas. Ribs, turkey and pork were also great. The best curveball to this platter were the amazing house made pickles and fresh rolls. 10/10 some great barbecue for the north east.

This food is beyond delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful, cozy and impeccably clean. Turkey was so tender it fell apart while I was eating. The pork was juicy, tender and perfectly cooked. If you love smoked food, Texas style BBQ, or his is a must stop. Will definitely be back soon!

The staff is always so friendly here. The portions of food are always more then enough. We were trying to order online the last visit but weren't able to because it was too close to closing time. I called, they said if we made it by closing we could still get food. I arrived like 10 minutes before closing and was able to get a family size meal with no problems. We love the turkey and the brisket the best but all the meats are good. I personally am not a fan of the sides but my family enjoys them. The cole slaw without mayo is good and I like the rolls.

I’ve been coming to Red White & Que since they were next to Bow Craft. Their bbq is excellent ESPECIALLY the brisket with the mouthwatering black peppercorn. Also as a veteran I love that they take care of us every single year in November as a small business. Highly recommend especially for the dessert!

The BBQ here is fantastic, and so are the people working. Such a friendly experience. I come here for lunch sometimes. I love the brisket, it's always so tender and juicy. The bark on it is legit. The pulled pork is fantastic. So tender! The smoke on both the pulled pork and brisket is great. Not too much, not too little. The sides are stellar also. I usually get the potato salad, creamy coleslaw, baked beans, and sweet pickles. You must try them all. I used to travel to Austin TX a lot for business. Getting BBQ was a regular occurrence on those trips. Franklin BBQ, Salt Lick etc. Coming back home to NJ was sad because we had nothing that compared.....until I found Red White & Que. This husband wife team is doing BBQ right, and turning out incredible BBQ usually only found in Texas. Give it shot, you won't be disappointed!

Pre-Ordered for the holiday weekend. Food was excellent as usual (Brisket, Pastrami, Ribs, Sausage). Staff was great order was all boxed and ready at requested pickup time, they reviewed contents with me, out the door I went.

Great place and even better food. From the moment you pull up you can smell the brisket being smoked. They have a great selection and extremely friendly service. I order the BBQ sampler to try a little of everything and already can’t wait to go back. The smoked Turkey is juicy beyond belief and after having the brisket I can see why the won Best BBQ in Jersey. Highly recommend for any lover of Good Ol ’ American BBQ. I will definitely be going back.

Ps. You can also buy a veteran a meal. Great program they have going to support those who protected us.

Fantastic little place. I noticed it on the way to somewhere else and decided to try it. The food was fantastic. The price was great. The staff friendly and oh so smokey <3. Consider me a regular because this is now one of my spots :D

We ordered the BBQ Lovers Sampler (please correct me if I'm wrong on the name, feeds 3-4) and it was all delicious. That's not even a good enough word. The service was excellent. The place was gorgeous and clean. My dad couldn't stop saying how much he loved it 🥲 it was his favorite lunch date.

Awesome place for a carnivore! Delicious! They are all great but my personal favorites (top 3) arrange from best to very good… 1. Pastrami 2. Brisket 3. Ribs 4. You can’t go wrong with the rest of the protein! For the sides- if I could only have one, go for the greens! Push it down with any of the awesome sodas/ pop! Try some pickled items too while you are at it! In a hurry? Grab the sandwich to go… we personally eat in - dine in and buy by the pounds of meat!

Amazing place and Great people. I ordered to much food, it was so delicious I don’t feel any guilt or regret. This now my to go to BBQ place 💯, even this is 45mins away. Strongly recommend this place to any body. You will not be disappointed.

This place is a gem, it’s our favorite bbq place and we absolutely love it. Everything on the menu is delicious, ribs, pastrami, pulled pork… highly recommend!

We "dashed" it and loved it.

Some of the most proper Texas brisket and South Carolina style pork I think I've found in the area outside my own patio. The brisket had a crispy bark of black pepper & smoke, and easily passed the bend test. The pulled pork shredded fine and hinted to a nicely tart apple cider vinegar mop. Greens prepared as we prefer them (vinegar forward) and potato salad on point!

My only nits to pick were the beans, which I didn't much care for preferring English beans myself, and the sauces which were on the whole too sweet for my taste. I prefer Memphis style sauce myself, so I don't ding them for either. Just a flavor.
