Sheri's Eastside Diner

Literally my favorite diner of all time!!! You can't walk in there and be in a bad mood; the atmosphere alone is worth going. However, sheri knows how to run a diner like a champ! Much love for this diner!

When I search for places to eat breakfast, the hours are the first thing I look for. My folks and I are early birds so we like to go out early. Sheri's EastSide Diner is one of a few places that opens at 6am while many other diners open at 7am. You rock for opening early. We were greeted immediately by an employee who I believe was the owner. She was friendly.

I ordered "The Big Three" under the "For the bigger appetite" section on the menu. It came with three pancakes, three eggs, three sausages, bacon, home fries, and toast.

Pancake - it was as huge as a large sized plate.

Sausage links - it was thick and huge. This was the best part of my breakfast! It was delicious and to die for.

The food came in large portion, too. I think this platter would even make a hungry horse full!

This place and its atmosphere is an absolute delight! Came here with my family and felt right at home for they welcomed us with open arms! Staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Wow!!! What a great little diner. The food was absolutely amazing. The best breakfast sandwich in town. Fast, friendly service with great prices.

Good breakfast. Definitely check out the daily features, see my photo. I got the hot sausage, pepper & onion omelet, wife got broccoli and ham omelette, we split a side of corned beef hash it was alright but I set a high bar. Plenty of food and coffee.

We had the giambrotte and some hash browns. Both were very good. The portions were very large and he had plenty for a second breakfast later. Very friendly staff. We will be back to check out other items on the menu.

Best food at the best prices. Staff makes you feel like you are home. If you are a hungry breakfast lover, this is the place to go.

Everytime I have stepped into this place it’s always a friendly environment. The food is well worth the money spent every time .

The food was good and the server was courteous and efficient. Unfortunately the visit took somewhat of down turn when my elderly mother asked the hostess to give her a piece of a plant that she liked. No big deal, she often asked people to do this because she likes plants. However, the hostess seemed especially perturbed by it. I want to assure her that my mom meant no harm. She recently lost her husband and I often drive out from Albany to take her out for the day. We like this diner and don't want to cause any undo issues. Thank you.

Every meal I have had there has been great!

The food was plentiful. The service was fast and efficient. The diner was clean and we all had a great place to eat. We are a group of 15 on vacation. We came to the diner after Bible Class. Most of the kids are a breakfast item. The adults (all but one) ordered lunch items, and we were all satisfied. The lemon, blueberry french toast was amazing. The Greek burger was a mouthful. The wrap was good. The Blondie sandwich was good too.

Friendly diner nestled off to the side of the road. I had prompt service and felt at home. I will be frequenting this quaint gem when I'm in town visiting my girlfriend.

Quick and personable service. Sheri waited on us herself. Paul was at the ready for coffee refills. Portions were immense! Bring your appetite. Food was delicious.

Stopped in with my wife a couple weekends ago due to many great reviews on Google. They did not disappoint! Worth the 5+ minute drive off the highway if you are passing through like we were. Not a place full of frills but clean, comfortable, plenty big enough so you are sure to quickly get a seat. Portions were "a plenty" and the price was admittedly too inexpensive for what we got, no way to leave hungry. Extensive menu as well. I'll be back in if I'm passing through around breakfast time.

Fantastic local diner. Our waiter was a friendly older gentleman who was quick to take our order and top off our coffee while working the entire full dining room by himself. I ordered the gut buster omelette, which was this monstrosity of a meal that must’ve weight 5lbs. My girlfriend ordered a fairly large meal as well which included pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, toast, and hash browns. Very reasonably priced for the sheer volume of food, especially the gut buster. Everything tasted fantastic. When I cashed out, I asked the lady at the counter if it had been busy all morning (it was packed when we got there) and she said it had, and they were short staffed and only had 3 people. I was surprised because we got our food in only 20 minutes. I’m not in Utica often but I will absolutely go back, probably one of the top 3 breakfasts I’ve ever had

Great prices and large portion sizes. Frequent coffee refills and friendly atmosphere.

My three children are picky eaters and eat everything on their plate. Next time I come I’m getting a salad because it was delicious looking and my picky eater daughter ate everything. Our sandwiches were very good. Service was excellent.
