I can not say enough about the friendly and professional staff and service I consistently receive from this store. I’m a professional landscaper and require fast, efficient repair and service for my equipment and the staff here has far exceeded my expectations. I would like to express a special thanks to the two Steve’s in the service/repair department for their prompt, professional and courteous service. They truly care about providing top notch customer service.
I highly recommend this store for all your landscape, hardware and small engine repair needs.

I had an issue with a Toro snowblower that I purchased at Crescent Ace Hardware in Clifton Park a few years ago which has since been bought by Robinson’s. Bring the one in Guilderland is closer to me I brought it there for a warranty issue. After Toro misinformed the Robinson’s that the problem wasn’t covered I contacted Toro and was told it was coveted just as I had thought. Toro however did not make it easy as they would not call Robinson’s on my behalf to straighten out the miscommunication. I called the manager of Robinson’s (Rob) and we went over the warranty. He agreed with me on my interpretation of the warranty and stated he would straighten it out with Toro and he did. I said to go ahead with the warranty repair and also service the snowblower. I was told it would take about 5 weeks due to work log and I was fine with that. A few weeks passed and I was contacted by their repair man, who informed me the parts had arrived but they were not in satisfactory condition. He thankfully refused to put them on my snowblower. This happened a few more times where Toro sent parts that were damaged. I called to check on it before the big storm we are supposed to be getting. He said he was awaiting one more part and then he would try to get it done by the weekend. He called back a few hours later and said the part came in and he was done. He also told me the manager was going to absorb the cost of the tune up because this had turned into a big ordeal. I had someone pick it up for me and it’s in perfect condition with a full tank of gas. This is the second toro snowblower that I’ve owned. The previous one had a plastic chute that the joystick controlled and it was as smooth as butter. Even though this Toro is their premium snowblower the metal chute never operated as smoothly as the plastic one. Well Steve the repair man worked some magic because I notice ot is silky smooth now. I could tell from the conversations that I have had with Steve Sr that he prides himself on his work. He wanted to insure that my snowblower would be returned to me in tip top shape. and it was. I will definitely use them again for repairs or buying a new snowblower if I ever need too. They stepped up to the plate for me and I greatly appreciate it.

Great hardware store! The staff is wonderful- friendly and helpful. This is definitel y my go-to place for small fixit tasks around the house. Convenient store hours and parking.

The staff here are so helpful and nice! I bought a defective lock for work, and of course, I threw away the receipt.. I went in there a few days later with the defectivelock, and they were all more than willing to help me try to figure it out. When we found out it was defective, they replaced it for me. No questions asked! I'm really impressed with the customer service! Thank you, Robinson's!

Personally helped by one of the courteous sales reps . In and out in minutes got everything I needed reasonably priced. So much better than Home Depot. Been going there for 65 years.

I haven’t bought anything from the store but I did rent a U-Haul truck for a week from them. Very easy to pick up the truck and very easy to drop it back off. I had a good experience renting from them and would definitely go back.

They have everything you need. Sometimes prices will be a bit more than going to Home Depot or Lowe’s, however pretty much all their products from paint to hedge trimmers is top of the line. The staff is friendly and willing to help

Am new to area, had walked way too far, decided to visit the hardware store and get a latch for my door. Blond kid working there not only directed me to latches but printed me out a local bus schedule so I could get home! Good employee, good latch, good experience!

Have had repair work done in my riding mower. Their service team is great. Friendly and accommodating, and technician did an amazing job repairing the unit and tuning it up. For a ten year old machine it is working like new.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the women named grace. I was struggling with a return of an item and she was the most patient employee i've ever dealt with, and i'm an business owner so that says a lot. Will definitely be revisiting ace the hardware place pretty soon.

Great change of pace over the big boxes. Competitive pricing on most items in an more neighborhood feeling store. Always a nice place to stop. Really good for nuts and bolts. Super selection and you can buy singles instead of being forced to buy whole packets. Was the first non-Sears store I have seen carrying Craftsman (there are more now). Staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Recommend highly, especially if you are in a hurry for that emergency item.

Steve and the team were very prompt and helpful with the small engine carburetor issues. I've struggled for days and multiple carbs trying to troubleshoot the problem but you can't beat the experience and knowledge of guys who've been doing it for years.

I had come to Robinson's at another store's sales clerk's recommendation. I was searching for a hex bolt with a certain metric thread size that had more than 1" of thread. It had to be able to secure a bike rack inserted into a 2" receiver. The rack has a threaded nut on one of the inside holes so I couldn't use the usual hitch pin. The clerk willingly gave 20 minutes of his attention trying many iterations of metric bolts before he found a couple that would work. After searching many stores, I finally found one with a clerk who would and could help! Kudos to Robinson's.

This feedback is about a super fantastic experience i had with my local Robinson's Ace Hardware located in Guilderland, NY with Rob (store manager) and Judd (president). I had a substantial issue with a piece of equipment ($400) i purchased two years ago - Rob spent months dealing with the manufacturer over and over. Although the manufacturer did not want to cooperate, Rob persisted and was able to get them to replace the product. He spent many hours throughout the entire summer season dealing with this headache. He went well above and beyond the standard call of duty here, all because he wanted to make this situation right. This exceptional service from a local hardware store was much more than i could expect from any other retailer and will keep a customer for life. Friendly and helpful staff at all times. Highly recommend this location.

The staff at Robinson's hardware is always been very knowledgeable and they have always been friendly. Yesterday I picked up a new trimmer something a little more heavy duty that I've been using and they even handled assembly as I was changing out the trimmer head for a blade. They tested and made sure it ran and registered my warranty. They always operate in this fashion they're an excellent place to go for hardware and supplies.

All of the staff are so helpful. My basement flooded this last weekend and Kenny was so great. When I returned today he remembered our conversation from this weekend and helped me pick up everything I needed. He even asked how the cleanup was going.
This is the reason I keep returning.
