Great menu. Well cooked and seasoned food. Price is also reasonable. Ambience is beautiful and one of the best tasting food in Albany! Waiters and pretty attentive too.

They are always polite, tasty food and this is alot of food for $15.12! I'm going to be enjoying this for several meals!

We enjoyed this place! It is a beautiful quaint location. It is nicely and modernly decorated. It was perfect for some alone time with my fiancee. The drinks and sushi we're great. I wasn't in love with the sesame chicken but everything was great! Service was quick and polite. Will definitely be returning.

Loved the sushi I had here. Good selection of Japanese and some Chinese entrees. I also enjoyed the appetizers we had. We stopped in for carryout but I noticed that they had a nice dining room as well. Nothing super fancy but it is a little bit trendy looking. Prices were moderate, and fairly typical for that style of food.

One of my go to places for Sushi and highly recommended! The food is always fresh and delicious and when I used to work nearby I would order a few times a week. They also have really good lunch specials and most recently I used them to cater a party and all of the sashimi and sushi was fantastic. A+

We really enjoyed the Crispy, Spicy Tuna Wonton appetizer and the Sweet Potato Roll. They were very original and tasty. Additionally, the sushi rolls we had were well executed. Really good quality in the Capital Region. Service was not fast, but this isn't day for. If you go for sushi- expect that it takes the sushi chef some time. And our servers were very sweet. Good experience all around.

This place is a gem! The sushi grade fish is very fresh and delicious. Also you can always find a seat here and it’s usually very quiet. Very good place to go with a group even without reservations. Their hibachi (cooked in kitchen) here is amazing! This is not a negative point but I did want to say that there is no hibachi grill so you are not going in looking for one. The food is always cooked to perfection and drinks are strong. Their takeout food is as delicious as their in restaurant food. Portions are outrageous.

I always love coming here. My coworkers and I come here for lunch sometimes. So awesome to get a soup AND a salad with our inexpensive entrees. The woman who always seems to work in the afternoon is very kind. I think they get 5 stars for customer service.

I always order from this place. The food is always very good, on time, and it's very clean. The prices are excellent for the portions. Went inside for lunch one day and was surprised it wasn't more packed. The bar was very lit and the drinks were on point. Even the bartender was nice. Love them. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite sushi spot in town. I crave it when I’m away. The pricing is fair. The staff is super friendly and sweet. I have not ordered anything I did not like. Whenever I’m in town this is a must for take out or dining in. My go to!

I've eaten at many of the Capital District's sushi restaurants and Asian Bistros and Hokkaido is by far my favorite in Albany. I used to work nearby and would get lunch or dinner there at least once a week. The food is always fresh and their many different rolls, which are my favorite, are fresh, plump and always great-tasting and fun to eat and are always served with a generous portion of wasabi, soy sauce and ginger. The service is quick and with the Covid-19 pandemic, it's been take-out only (but that may have changed recently - you should call and check) and they take proper precautions to protect everyone. Whether you dine in or take out, live locally or are travelling and looking for some great sushi or other Asian delicacies along your travels, Hokkaido is located on Central Ave, right off Exit 5 (Everett Road Exit) of I-90, where you can jump right back on the highway. I highly recommend!

This is, without a doubt, the best asain, hibachi and Chinese food place in the area! Their filet mignon is always perfectly cooked. Their chicken fried rice has a flavor that's 10x better than any other place in town ... and I've personally tried at least 15 other places in the Capital Region to try to find an alternative that's equivalent. There are none that are as consistent, and none are nearly as good. I've moved about 15 miles away, but this place is still the absolute best in the area. You have to go to NYC or Boston to find anything close.

The staff were very nice and accomodating. They served the best sushi I have ever had!! They payed great attention to detail and made sure you had a good experience.

Fast and efficient service. Nice, quiet atmosphere, very easy to forget other people are around. Perfect for a date night, and the food tasted spectacular (and that's coming from a very picky eater!) Absolutely planning to go back!

We eat there at least 2 or 3 x a month, wonderful food wonderful staff..a real hidden treasure right under our noses. We have other sushi at many spots as they are popping up left and right most very good, this place tops them all. ty hokkaido staff

Just stopped in for the first time to try the sushi. Had 3 different chef rolls (Iso Fantastic Roll, Alligator Roll and Rainbow Roll) all were very flavorful!
