Melrose Supermarkets

Walked in there today, and the most heavenly smells were in the air! They were cooking many kinds of homemade dishes. I was tempted to just buy something they were making, but had already planned to make my own meatloaf. They sell 50/50 beef/pork mix, pre-seasoned or unseasoned. Great quality to their meats - ground, steaks, chops - you name it! The butchers are always helpful if you need a different size package than what they have out. Up front (where all the cooking was happening) they also usually have baked goods, and their very reasonably priced, tasty subs are HUGE! Bring cash or pay a nominal fee for card purchases (I forget if that's a general rule or just for purchases under a certain dollar amount). Thank you, Melrose :-)

Great deli meats and prepared dinners , been a regular customer for years on and off .Everytime I'm in the valley I stop in and stock up on steak ,Mexican beef and other meats.The stromboli and sausage breads are my favs.

Great hometown grocery store. They have a great selection of custom cut meats, sausage breads, stromboli, and other assorted stuffed breads. They also make and sell individual portions of soups and Italian entrees.

I love this market. You can find anything you want. The home made food is Awesome! We went for a few things and grabbed subs. My heavens they were big! A big shout out to all!

I shop Melrose almost daily the meat quality is remarkable a great selection of pasta yummy stuffed bread and now a ice cream parlor my granddaughter skyler is hooked. I just wish they would bring back the one dollar section.

The butchers and deli dudes are usually pretty on point when it comes to the meat. The cashiers are always nice. My favorite things are the breads. You cant find better pepperoni, sausage, meat lovers, stromboli... none if it, is better than Melrose.

My wife and I live in Sylvan Beach, NY and drive to Melrose Market in Frankfort once a month to purchase the finest / fresh cuts of meats and specialty foods we have been exposed to. This has been our tradition for 6 years now, and we enjoy the trip and appreciate the integrity which Melrose places behind their name and in their products . Everyone there has a smile to greet you with and a pleasing attitude to compliment it.

Additionally I have found great comfort in visits to their next door neighbor Vinnie the barber. I dropped in a year ago to get a trim, and see him every month now as well.

Kudos to Frankfort, for what they are doing to hold on to mom-and-pop businesses like this, small town government decisions such as this places them to the top of my list.

Great small-town grocer that has everything and more of a full size mega chain. Fresh cut meats, fresh veggies, really good prices and friendly staff .

I personally think that this store is one of the best family owned business I've ever been to. Very pleasant , very clean . All together wonderful people.

Very friendly Everyone is always willing to help very good choice of meat and if you find something that is too big they will cut it for you or cut down the dinners or salads Etc always enjoy going there

Came from NC and stopped to get a fresh sub and it was amazing if I could do ten stars I would of I never caught the ladies name who servicd me but best service I've had in many years thank you you made my day definitely a must stop if I'm back in town again

Great variety and prices and even thru the whole Co-vid, they have Maintained very well and kept the meat shelves stocked

Great fresh cuts of meat at great prices. Great homemade goodies from pepperoni bread to muddy buddy. My go to for quick dinner ideas.
