Remington Recreation Trail

We always refer to this trail as "Partridge Run" after the surrounding golf course. Nice, wide, paved trails. Always well maintained. Really an ideal spot for a walk, run, or bike ride. Also fantastic for strollers or wagons. One of the top destinations for our family over the years of living in the Canton area.

There is also lots of wildlife to view during your visit--wildflowers, frogs, snakes, butterflies, chipmunks, birds, even dogs (sometimes leashed, sometimes running wild!)

Safe, excellent walking trail. Courteous people on the trail of all ages. Very well maintained during all the seasons.

Very clean trail with a nice unpaved trail near the entrance that goes around half a mile into the woods. I will definitely be going back here as it looks like a fantastic spot to go roller blading on the paved loop. Google maps shows a good portion of the trail, but there is roughly half of it missing from the map. So long as you stay on the paved path, it does fully loop around.

My favorite local trail to bring my young daughter on a bike ride.

Safe, shaded, paved biking/walking trail, an unpaved nature trail and a sandbox with the best connection of donated free use Tonka trucks ever. (Just wish it had some shade structure as that sand area gets pretty hot in the sun.) This gem seems like a well hidden treasure tucked off the main road (outside of town... So not so main road-ish) behind a senior living center and golf coaching field. Plenty of parking too.

This is a great 3.2 mile paved trail that meanders its way over streams through wooded areas and through meadows. It has benches along the way in case you need a rest it even has a lean to on the far side of the trail in case you get caught out in the rain or want to rest in a dry place. This trail is open year around walking running or biking in the summer and cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.

I remember the first time we discovered the Remington Recreation Trail. When my son, who was about 4 at the time, came upon the large "sandbox", it was like a dream come true! There were digger and dumpers and carved wooden bears and it was amazing! Such a simple thing--a sandbox--but it provides lasting memories for all who visit.
