Asian Tea House

Asian tea house is my top pick in the capital district for Asian food. All the classic dishes taste a level above the competitors in the area. Sit at the bar and have a drink with the owner while you wait for your food. Ken and his wife are amazing people, can’t recommend this place enough.

The food is very good! Best hot and sour soup I have had in a long time. I would definitely come here to eat with my family again. The hot sake was very good too. Staff was short, so service was slow, but amazing nonetheless.

Another good Asian restaurant, is quiet and food comes out hot , combo platters come with your main protein along with soup, fried rice and spring rolls. The general Tso chicken was perfectly cooked and tender.

Kenny will do anything you want if he has the stuff to do it. I asked for one big piece of salmon and this is what he gave me. Oh myeeee it was delicious!!!

Great food, friendly service at fair prices! They also offer a large choice of sushi items that is always excellent!

Stopped by for a Zombie, visited with Ken, and watched the Fourstardave race. I have been coming here for many years. The Wok-seared salmon is outstanding. Spicy pan-fried wonton, broccoli w garlic sauce, and Szechuan shrimp, are personal favorites.

Food is always the same, very good. Sushi is amazing and they will make it any way you want. Gluten free is no problem. They are right on top of any allergy.

This restaurant is off the charts! Their food is amazing and you'll never find better sushi at any other place. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone thinking about enjoying some Chinese food.

Myself and my wife probably order from there at least every 10 days. Kenny and his wife which are the owners of the Asian Tea House are outstanding very welcoming, friendly and let me tell Kenny is one funny guy. Now for the food all I can say is superb best Chinese I’ve ever eaten and the sushi is top notch everything tastes fresh I mean like the vegetables they have a crunch to them not soggy, put it this way you can not go wrong eating food there 👍

I have gone here with my family for years and have gotten their food at least twice a week. These negative reviews do not describe ANY of my hundreds of experiences here. Sushi is excellent, fresh, and the best I’ve ever had. The Chinese food is always consistent and never has any issues; not to mention is it delicious! Also, all of their dishes are top quality. The family is wonderful and their restaurant is by far one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.

Whether it's for takeout or eating in, Asian Tea House has the best local Chinese food! The boneless ribs are my favorite, with the smoky sauce and tender texture. You also can't go wrong with any of their brown sauce items, it's delicious. We've been enjoying this place for years and always will!

Love this place, always great food. Formerly yips. We do pickup all the time and they are super quick and nice. They do not deliver, but honestly worth driving to get it. Our favorites are the steamed or fried dumplings, house lo mein, general tso chicken, and the pork fried rice. Their sushi is really good too.

Great place to eat. I go often for the authentic food and great service. I've had lunch, dinner and takeout. All are good, but don't miss out on a dine-in experience.

A nice little place off the main road that has a good selection of food and plenty of seating. Plus the price wasn't bad at all, and while it is short staffed, it's still relatively quick for the meal.

We take a diner. We eat salad, soup, ribs, sushi. All was good. Very friendly. Calm this evening, lots of people use the "take away" or pick up.

Excellent place for dinner and lunch. Great food and service. Sushi bar kis excellent as well. Family owned. Friendly atmosphere for all.I've been going there for over 30 years. Since the days it was called Yip's. Always satisfied. Never had a bad meal. I highly recommend it.

I was from out of town, visiting a friend, and he recommended the Asian Tea House because he has been there several times. He was right?! The food was wonderful, the service was very good and we loved the way the dining room was designed. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
