I have banked with Fifth Third for over 20 years. As a rule I find them to be a good bank. They are a helpful bank with all aspects. I anticipate continuing to bank with Fifth Third.

The skinny, wig wearing notary there is really rude. Not Jania or whatever her name is but the other one. She talked to me like I was a criminal, demanding to know what a stack of unrelated papers was. It was none of her business and I tried to explain that they were not the papers I was trying to notarize. The she even talked down to me like a toddler explaining what a notary was! Obviously I know what a notary is or I wouldn't go to a notary! It was just a really bad experience and if I have to go back here, I will try to avoid her. I will leave if she is the only notary on duty. The other notary, Jamia went to lunch RIGHT as I said I needed a notary which sucked and led to this bad experience.

Went in to open a bank account and for the first time in my life was told I was denied. They use a 3rd party company called "Chex systems" who apparently prides themselves in using an outdated website, providing defensive customer service, and unable to explain the reports they provide.

Chex didn't like me because at the age of 27 I don't own a home and I move around (typically once per year with work). Due to these reasons, I was deemed too risky to open anything but a "second chance" account which is an absolute slap in the face for someone who prides themselves on keeping their finances/credit in check. The only reason for 2 stars is because the associates delivering the news were pleasant, and I know it's not their decision to refuse doing business to well qualified customers.

This 6 figure earner with a 700+ credit score who was going to deposit close to $20-30k into an account will happily be taking my business to the bank I went to directly after this experience who was able to open multiple accounts for me no problem. Whoever has implemented this policy of working with "Chex" should truly evaluate their decision and track the impact of how much business they've lost due to such policies.

Called 5/3 to request a new cc as the old one was lost. They sent a new card & I activated it. Transactions declined. Called and they said they account has been closed due to inactivity. And now I must reapply. Terrible experience with this bank. Re-affirms my decision to use a small, local bank.

I have a mortgage with fifth third and am trying to set up an online account. I can't create one online. I have to call a number and of course suffer through the wait time to get through to representative let alone the 5 minutes of verifying one's account. Wow what wouldn't I give to get the ceo and or any board member to have to sit through their own service. now being transferred yi yi yi oh lookie here . I have to actually go to a bank to get these services performed. LOL

Why did J.P Morgan not destroy this fake financial institution? You would be better off giving your money to a group of known criminals with a history of gambling.

Worst banking experience in my life I was just in the bank on 2/4/17 they never told me my savings account was closed I was expecting my refund to deposit today on 2/22/17 in my savings and my account is closed so pissed with this bank I have bills and I work to hard for my money
