The Galloway Tavern

What a gem the Callaway Tavern is. Convenient location just around the corner from Mentel Memorial course, perfect spot for meeting up with golfers for post-round grub.

Dark and old school atmosphere. Surprised the Callaway Tavern didn’t sport golf-themed decorations, but that’s neither here nor there. Service was on point, impressed by the staff’s attentiveness.

Wings are the star of the show. At the price point of around $1 each, these MEATY wings can’t be beat. Breading is heavier than average, but chicken stays juicy. Variety of sauces to indulge in. Other reviews highlight the pizza which I’ll be back to try.

Bad Callaway/Galloway jokes aside, this place rocks and you need to go.

Finally had a chance to drop in to have this little gem of a place. Great little dive bar where everyone knows each other. Ordered habanero wings, got some advice to have it on the side and as you can see it was good advice. Very hot! Great fries and pizza. I ended up with hot garlic and cant wait to go again.

Food was outstanding. Service was fast for 5:30 on a Monday. Good music selection. Can't go wrong with Philly cheese steak and fried bell peppers.

Best hometown/ biker bar in the area. Pizza? Great! Double baked wings? Amazing! Any and all appetizers? Fantastic! The price? Also amazing! The beer? The coldest you’ve ever had! Small parking lot, but you always find a spot.

I absolutely love this place. The wings are fantastic,especially if you have them baked in the oven. The pepperoni specialty pizza is delicious. This pizza is loaded with a few kinds of pepperoni, and it's always crispy and good.

My first time here. Delicious pizza and very fulfilling! I ordered a large Pepperoni, Mushroom, Sausage. It had fresh mushrooms, not canned. The crust was medium thinkness with crunchy edges, good flavor and texture was chewy and soft. The sauce was just right in my opinion, not too tangy and not too sweet. I also ordered the sauerkraut balls, Philly cheese steak sandwich, and garlic wings. This was my first time trying sauerkraut balls and they were really good. It came with a mustard sauce which was pretty good too. The wings were nice sized and the flavor was great. I prefer wimgs that are more crunchy, but for this style it was pretty good. The food was ready pretty fast on a Weds. night around 9:30 p.m. The Philly Cheesesteak was great too! It was meaty with fresh mushrooms diced bells and onions on a fresh bun with melty cheese. It came with a mayo paket too. The server was friendly and the price was good for everything that I got.

I called in to order a pizza to go. They quoted 20-25 minuets on a Sunday evening. Very reasonable. When I got there the place was busy (good sign) and I paid for my pizza and waited a few extra minuets while one of the bar tenders got it for me. Two bar tenders asked if I had been helped yet (good service) and it was ready on time. I took it home and REALLY enjoyed the pizza. I look forward to ordering more food from here. Nice job!

What a great time we had. The food was amazing. The staff were attentive and quick, and the beer was cold !

First visit celebrate birthdays mine and my brothers .had the wings biggest wing I have ever had fantastic fries mushrooms celery cheese stick all fantastic order 100 wings beers and margaritas tea also wait person was great friendly .we DoD not have to wait long for our food. Fantastic if you go order the wing you will be very happy.we dinner in and also did take out

Had a deluxe pizza added toppings was great the staff was great. A little more noise than I care for but we enjoyed the meal.

Nice little joint...friendly waitress 😁 we had a good pizza, three different types of pepperoni. Thin crust. Plenty of cheese 👍 not a ton of sauce but tasted great !! Also Tried an Italian sub. Good toasted bun, lots of meat. And the Garlic chicken wings were great 😉👍

No frills place with good food and great prices. Staff is great and is constant which is nice. The only downside is that the food takes a while to come out, but def worth the wait! Love this place. Definitely a go to place on the west side.

Best food! Huge wings amazing pizza with more toppings than expected and at a great value! Beer is ice cold and the bartenders/ servers are always fun and quick!

Good beer selection, good food, and great service.

Passing through on the Ohio to Erie Trail. Meatball and Veggie subs were both great. Service was good, even with it being packed. Friendly people. Would definitely eat here again.

Just there to pick up a take out order. Sub, wings, salad were very good and filling.
