Nail Essence

Super talented nail techs! Some of the best set of nails I've ever had done. A beatiful cat eye effect not allot of places I've been to even have this. The staff is super nice and professional and everything is really clean as well. 10/10 would go again.

I went for an acrylic full set on April 6th, I’m a little rough on my nails so I came back for a balance on 4/20. They are very skilled and gentle with my nails! I showed them a photo of how I want my French tips to be and they executed perfectly both times even tho there were 2 different people who did them. It’s a little pricey so be prepared to pay but it is worth it for the quality.

I needed to get my nails done asap & no one could get me in on short notice, and I also work in downtown Columbus until 5 and not many places are open late or their last appointment is at 4:30! So I google searched for other nail places & fell upon Nail Essence & I’m so glad I did!!! I’m awful with names but there is a girl with long hair who did my nails, & another girl who I’ve always seen with a cute claw clip did my toes. They were so sweet & provided great service! I decided to go back for my acrylic balance and gel toe polish change & pedi. Tony did my nails this time, and another man did my pedi and again, exceptional service & Tony is so sweet and has the best sense of humor. I was in there along with other customers & it was very lively and we got to talking to each other about how nice the pedicures feel!!! Will be my go-to nail salon :)

This was my first time going to this quaint salon and I will definitely be going back. It was so easy to book online so you don’t have to wait, as they do take walk in clients as well.
When I walked in I was immediately greeted warmly by the staff. Tony did my nails and he was very professional, personable, and made me feel so welcomed. He did my nails exactly how I wanted them and they turned out so cute! I would highly recommend this salon!

This nail salon is by far the best nail salon I have ever been to, and for many different reasons! But to name a few…
The very first thing, that I’d like to shout out is walking into this place, you can feel the energy! Everyone is so welcoming! Especially for a gay man, walking into the salon to get a nail service done, other than just your average manicure, there was no judgment at all!! The techs and owner explained the difference between the different services with the “Newer Gel” (which I loved) versus the regular Gel polish. Normally, walking into a local salon, I would feel judged and I would try to have a conversation and the other techs wouldn’t talk or anything, and would make me feel so uncomfortable like I wasn’t wanted there and would stare at me like I was an alien. NOT THIS SALON!!! They didn’t care what I was getting and I felt so welcomed. I immediately was so relieved! Because normally, I would get such bad anxiety going to a new salon. But as soon as I walked in the door, I could feel the good vibes and energy!
Also… A girlfriend and I made appointments at the same time, and I wanted to sit together, so we could chat… well both of our techs sit on opposite sides of the room… They made the accommodations and my tech came across the salon just to do my nails at a station that wasn’t even his! Thank you for doing that, David! I really appreciated that!! I felt bad he has to make a few different trips to his station to gather what was needed to do my nails.

This salon is clean, EVEN THE BATHROOM!

I love this salon so much that I was back in a few weeks, got my nails done again, and this will be my go to salon!!! I love everyone in there and because of the techs being so friendly, it makes the atmosphere so pleasant and even the customers that we don’t even know each other, will chat. OH and another favorite is that you can book any service with your favorite tech online!!!

I’ve been going to Nail Essence off and on since I was in high school, and I’ve never been disappointed! I recently decided to start getting acrylics again and I went to Selena for the first time, and I’m super happy with my nails. The techs here are quick and efficient without sacrificing quality of service 😌 Whether it’s a mani or a pedi, I’ve always been pleased with the result!

My third time here and they will get you right !

Mandy did a wonderful job with my pedicure. She gave me a variety of options on different aromatherapy smells, such as hot lava, pearl, etc. for my feet soaking. Mandy was also accommodating when assisting me with picking out nail colors. Mandy is the best and I cannot wait to come back 💅

Everyone at Nail Essence is very professional and friendly. Mandy does a great job and attentive to my needs. It’s so relaxing and she remembers how I like my nails and toes done that I take a quick nap. 😃 Thank you for all you do. I recommend that you stop by soon they also take walk-ins.

I love the atmosphere. They are amazing with my short nails that grow in the 2 months since I have been coming. They offer pedicures which I get every time I come because they do such a beautiful job with my nails I need toes to match. Jenny, got my nails together and she is super fast and clean with her work

I went to Nail Essence with my sisters and mom for pedicures and gel manicures for my wedding this coming Saturday. Great service and even better final product. Everyone was so friendly and we had a great time. Tony did my pedicure and was the absolute best. Highly recommend Nail Essence!

This was my first time here, but definitely not the last! By far the best place i’ve been so far. Staff were bubbly and friendly. Selena did an amazing job, the best nails i’ve ever had so far. She double checked her work, and the detail was amazing. I will 100% be back!

I have been going to Tony for years and he has never disappointed, whatever I ask he does with speed and efficiency, and gentlenesses.
I recommend this salon, it’s peaceful and everyone is very helpful.this is 3 almost 4 weeks out and they still look amazing!

My cousin and I came here for a last minute mani and pedi! We loved it. The place was welcoming although I did not get the name of the ladies who did our nails they were very nice. We will be back. I was looking for a new nail spot to go to on this side of town. This shop did NOT disappoint.

I tell everyone about this place. Everyone is always very nice and accommodating. Tony has been my go-to nail tech for years and I never leave disappointed. I always get compliments on my nails, (and he’s fast) His wife Mandy is also very good and is great with designs.
It’s very easy to make an appointment online so you don’t have to wait when you get there.

I discovered nail essence about 3 months ago, it’s a hidden gem in Pickerington. I enjoy my experience each time I come here. They are welcoming, friendly and do a very good detailed job with patience. They listen to you and do exactly what you ask. They also have a great loyalty program. This is my new go to nail salon.
