A Bend In the Road Cabins

Such an amazing cabin... Me and wife loved it so much... It has a long gravel driveway and made us a little nervous but then the back of the property opened up to these 2 gorgeous cabins!!! Such a homey experience and the owner was a delight to deal with and the cabin has a farm cat you can feed and the cat was such a a cutie.... I would go there every weekend if I had the chance... Hot tub was amazing just an absolute joy to be in the cabin 5 stars all day!!!

This was an awesome experience. My family stayed in Carp's Cabin over the 4th of July holiday and it was great. The cabin staff was amazing and made sure that everything we needed was available. They made us feel comfortable and that our happiness was a priority to them. The rooms were very clean and well stocked with towels, sheets and extra blankets for lounging about the cabin. We will definitely stay there again!

My wife and I stayed here for Valentine’s Day weekend and had a wonderful time. I property is gorgeous and the cabin was beyond our expectations. We have stayed at cabins in Hocking before and nothing compares to this place. Literally everything we could have hoped for. Jeff (the owner) provides little touches of home in his rentals that you don’t usually find such as a fully stocked kitchen for cooking, snacks and spices, make-up remover, coffee for the morning etc. we were so impressed and able to really relax. We will be coming back for years to come! Excellent experience

The owner is a wonderful, super responsive guy! They make their cabins so welcoming and homey. We always feel cozy and comfortable when we stay with them. My husband and I have stayed multiple times and plan to go back very soon.

We stayed at Carps Cabin, which is part of the Bend in the Road Cabins. This was our first time to stay in a cabin and we were super impressed! It was clean, welcoming, and charmingly decorated. It felt very homey and felt like the owners paid attention to a lot of details to make the cabin comfortable and pleasant to stay. The cabin is a bit out of the ways and secluded from the main Hocking Hills area. Logan is about a 15 to 20 minute drive, and Hocking Hills park is about a 30 minute drive from the cabin. The drive isn't that bad to get to most places in the area. We had no qualms about the location of the cabin, especially given how nice the cabin was. The only complain I would have is the lack of cellphone or wifi service. The AT&T coverage map showed that there should have been service there, but I barely had 1 bar in the cabin, and most of the time had 0 bars. That made it a little hard to plan for places to go in the area, but the cabin had plenty of materials in it to help with that.

A Bend in the Road Cabins is our favorite place to stay in Ohio! Just outside of Columbus, Hocking Hills is a great getaway. My wife and I have been going there for several years and have enjoyed each and every time. Most guests sign a little book and tell a little bit about their experience. Jeff is an awesome host who truly wants to give the best experience for his guests. If you're looking for a getaway from the hustle of the city or visiting Hocking Hills this is the place to go. We have used both cabins for a family weekend and everyone had fun!

This is our favorite place to stay in Hocking Hills!! So beautiful and Jeff is the best host. The cabins are well furnished, super clean and they feel like home. We will come back here everytime!

My husband & I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary in March 2016 & for our 12 year anniversary this last March 2018. We loved it so much, we had to come back. Both times we stayed here (Elwood Cabin), it felt like home away from home. The two cabins are far enough away from each other to give you the privacy needed. The kitchen area is stocked with essentials for cooking, hot cocoa, coffee, snacks (which is a great touch btw). The living room area is very comfortable, warm & welcoming. Under the tv are movies & games (board/card types) to play. The loft is beautiful & amazing. The bed is so comfortable, I didn't even wanna get up out of it. LOL I would absolutely 150% recommend this cabin to anyone. I'm sure the other one is just as great. If we decide to come back, we might choose the other one, just to experience it. The owner is very professional & does an exceptional job at maintaining these cabins & property. & For that, me & my husband are very grateful. I'm probably forgetting something, but you will not regret booking a cabin here. It's just too beautiful for words. Thank you for the experience! 💛

We have stayed at "The Loft" in the past and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The furnishings are top of the line and the place was very clean. We have now booked a stay at Carps Cabin and are so looking forward to a relaxing time. I expect to give a "shining" view on that cabin as well.

We come here twice a year. Jeff does a wonderful job on the place and it is so peaceful. When you walk in its a warm welcome.

It was a beautiful cabinIt's very secluded There is no Wi-fi or cell serviceSo you're completely off the grid, other negative thing which is not bad is the stairs to the loft are a little tough if you are a tad older

What a beautiful and amazing place. Jeff thought of everything. A great place to escape and unwind. We will be going back and introducing our friends to this hidden gem.

Awsome place. The cabins are very clean and It had horse stalls w/pasture that goes up to the back deck so you can hang out with your horse.

Private place to getaway, very peaceful and rustic. Alot of thought and detail tailored to the guest with the things that are provided. Very friendly environment. Would recommend!
