Kessler Swamp State Nature Preserve

Just a small viewing platform. Maybe room for 4 cars on the edge of the road. You can see more of the swamp driving up the road. Bring the binoculars and enjoy.

A beautiful little spot to look over the swamp, but that's all it seems to be! There did not appear to be any trails or anything other than the observation deck.

Peaceful...low traffic...great place to sight herons and Kingfishers

Very scenic. There is a observation platform where you park and that's it. The parking area is a just a place to pull off to the side of the road with enough space for a couple of cars.

Just an observation deck here to look out over the water. Didn't see any hiking trails or any other type of activity here, except for the ducks paddling, birds chirping and frogs ribbiting. But this seems like a peaceful area and there is parking here, enough for a few cars.

Nothing much to see here. The swamp looks very large but the observation deck is too small. I hope at some point in the future this can turn into a boardwalk through the swamp, I think this place has a lot of potential to be a real attraction. The parking area is small and right on the inside bend of the road. This is not really a destination place to visit, you might only spend 5 minutes here. If you are in the area, it’s an easy stop. Enjoy it if you do make the trip.

I drive by this on my way home. I'd love it if odnr built trails through the area.

Good fishing spot

Pretty swampy.

Great if you're in the neighborhood, but not a destination to seek out by itself.
