The Old Bag of Nails Pub - Pickerington

I drove from Kentucky to have my birthday dinner with my kids and the grand baby last night and we had excellent service. Food was so delicious and atmosphere was perfect. Staff surprised me with this piece of cake! Great job everyone! We will be back! Highly recommend!

Our family loved the food!! The kids cleaned there and got free desert which they very much enjoyed!

Old Bag of Nails is a total vibe. I enjoy the atmosphere and the service on top of that the food is top tier.

I'll be honest, I've been to OBON's a couple of times in the last couple of years, and they were average at best. My wife requested we give them another try on our date night Thursday. We had the band discount card for 10% off, so off we went. I ordered cheeseburger/ fries, wife chicken sandwich. Both meals were incredible. Service speed was a tinge slow, but food was perfect, so it was well worth it. Great job, and we will absolutely be back!

Food was excellent. I got the fish and chips. I also got a giant pretzel because why wouldn't you. Staff was good and on time. The carrot cake was top notch. I will be coming here again.

First time at this location. Absolutely lovely atmosphere. I like this location then the others. Food was great and plentiful. This location will be added to my go to place indeed. Peace.

Good place for lunch or dinner. Food was good, typical Pub fare, with some Pub specific entrees. The service was good, we were there on a Sunday evening so it wasn't as busy as it could have been.
They also include some seasonal and Pub specific drinks . Interesting creations.

Old Bag does fish right. Our meals came out hot and the portions are generous. The lunch crowd was larger than I expected but the service was great. No waits for anything. The spinach salad was super fresh too!

I have lived less than 2 miles from here for 7 years and never came in. My husband and I came in on a whim and were so impressed. It's hard to find a good cocktail in Pickerington. My marg and gin drink (off the menu) were delicious. My hubby is picky about bourbon and both his Manhattan and Old Fashioned were amazing. We got an app which was yummy. We went back a few days later and got the fish. SO good! Drinks were good again and consistent! Some restaurants are iffy. Drinks never taste the same because the bartenders make them different. The bar is beautiful. Good quality. We never sat at a booth but they have tv's in the booths making it awesome for game days! Huge, large fireplace would be amazing on snowy days but sadly it's broke. Just found out kids eat free on Sundays! What a deal. We will definitely be making this a weekly thing.

I've tried everything on the menu not one thing has disappointed. Whatever they put in their blackened seasoning is phenomenal. Perfect example of a restaurant only having things on their menu they do excellently.

I always enjoy Old Bag. I had my first visit at the Pickerington location, our waiter very good, pleasant and knowledgeable. Side salad was excellent, I went simple with onion rings and chicken tenders the meal was fantastic. Someone at the table ordered the grill corn on the cob which was the talk of the table very very good. We ordered carrot cake to go it had way too much coconut for me but if you are a fan of coconut go with it.

One of the best HAPPY HOUR menus! Friendly bartenders and waitresses, and reasonable prices! The food is delicious. We have never been disappointed with anything we've ordered. Just recently tried the sauerkraut balls and they were delicious. Our faves are the fish & chips, rustic burger, and wings. They just recently added mozzarella sticks to the menu. There's always a good vibe/atmosphere. The only complaint we have is that there's no music on the patio.

Service was super friendly, atmosphere really cool, and the food and beer selection more than I expected. Excellent place to eat and drink if your heading to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame. I suggest the fish and chips. Best white fish I've ever had anywhere! Next visit was a killer double cheeseburger... Jessie was my server when I went the second time. Super cool, relaxed personality, and a pleasure to converse with.

Love the Old Bag of Nails. Their food is always great. First time visit this one in Pickerington. Guess what, the food were the same good!

Well I found a new sea food place..10 times better food then Red lobster or a place like that... service was excellent...prices are right for the food and drinks..nice and warm atmosphere...the only con was the menu was to big... Definitely recommend blackened grilled white fish

Great atmosphere, great service. Had the Friday fish special. All was good. Before our table was ready, sat at the bar for a beer and wings. Also very good. Just traveling through and would return if ever in the arra again.

My favorite place for fish and chips is The Old Bag of Nails in Pickerington, however, admittedly I always order take out and have never eaten in. My son and I had the pleasure of dining in for lunch today, and I must say that the service was exceptional! Our waitress, Carolyn K., was very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. She made sure that we had everything we needed and even went out of her way to make some great recommendations from the menu. I’d never had the shrimp before, and it was as delicious as the fish! Her attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond really made our dining experience memorable. I would highly recommend The Old Bag of Nails in Pickerington to anyone looking for great food and excellent service. And please, ask for Carolyn K., she is simply wonderful!
