Consumer Tire

I first went to Consumer Tire when my battery died on a Friday at 5:00 pm, and they close at 5:30. They got me in and swapped out my battery quickly and gave me a good price on the battery. For my next interaction they provided several services for my wife's car including new tires and brakes for a reasonable price and some perks that give you money back on your next service. Lastly they gave me a great price on my car’s brakes and rotors and I was able to use a courtesy car to do the things I needed to get done that day while they fixed my car. I will definitely go back.

I had previously used them to purchase tires. My husband did the research and said that they offered a fair price on a good quality tire. Today, I had a flat tire and showed up without an appointment. They were able to accommodate me pretty quickly with not much wait time. While waiting, they had a comfortable waiting area where I could do some paperwork and make some calls. I will be returning next time I need new tires.

Great business with reasonable price along with exceptional attention to detail. A huge shoutout to Wayne for his tolerance with my husband who was just being a cranky customer! (To say the least) In this day of front line associates being accused of bad customer service, this gentleman held his head high and gave the best service ever. I applaud you kind sir! Keep up the phenomenal work!!

I would highly recommend Consumer Tire. I bought tires there and have had brakes replaced by them. I always feel that Jessica and Wayne are helpful and honest. I was in today to have my tires rotated. I mentioned a few things to Wayne that were going on with my car. He listened and took care of everything. Very reasonable! I know that if I had gone to the dealership, I would have spent hundreds. Wayne even walked out with me and showed me how I could take care of one of the issues on my own if I so desire in the future. I will definitely continue to take my car to Consumer Tire. I'm confident that they do honest, good work.

Stopped in to get a tire patched but unfortunately they were booked solid for the day. Thought I was going to have to wait and make an appointment for another day when one of the owners (that was actually on vacation) stepped out of an office and said he'd do it. This is going above and beyond what I would call great customer service. Would you patch a tire if you were on vacation? I wouldn't 😆 Highly recommend

Requested an alignment. I've had some misfortune with my car. 5 alignments shops since beginning of year. Out of everyone that did the procedure, consumer tire took the time to dial in every adjustment to near perfect according to spec sheet. I have confidence in the work they put out. Outstanding job!!

The location in Chardon always took care of me so when I needed a new tire on the fly, I called the Mentor location. They squeezed me in on a packed Saturday, got me out in under an hour, and took very good care of me. They have certainly lived up to my expectations. Thanks again, Guys!

My first time here.. They started on time and efficiently did a good job.

Started at Honda of Mentor getting an oil change and they informed me that my front/rear brakes needed replaced. I didn't think this was the case, so I took the car to Wayne at Consumer Tire. End up finding out my rear brakes did need replaced but my front brakes were in great shape. Wayne and everyone at Consumer Tire saved me a ton of money. It is hard to find honest mechanics and it will be the only place I bring my car for repairs in the future.

Very satisfied! I had a bad tire and another company wasn't able to fix it and need to purchase a new replacement
But Consumer tire was able to repair it! That saved me a lot of money!

I got a flat this morning right before hopping onto 271. Instantly started calling around and Consumer was the only place that could get me in. VERY FRIENDLY PROFESSIONAL AND TIMELY. Will definitely switch to them for tires from now on.

Amazing customer service! Wayne is fantastic! I can't recommend him and Consumer Tire of Mentor enough! He took the time to walk me through the issues with my car and how to go about correcting them most cost effectively and prioritized based on what needs done immediately and what can wait. I never felt pressured or made to feel stupid because I don't know cars. I have found a great shop that I trust will do right by me! I had my vehicle at Champion in Mayfield where I was given the run around. I was referred to a mechanic named Bill at Consumer Tire. Having incurred 2 tow cost and paid for a diagnostic fee, I decided I needed to tow it one more time to Bill for a thorough and Honest evaluation. Bill evaluated my vehicle and gave me his Honest Mechanical Expert opinion. Although the outcome was not what I wanted to hear I feel Bill had been very Honest with his findings. Thank you Bill it’s not often that a woman can find a mechanic that is not trying to take advantage of her pockets. If you need a Great Mechanic Bill is your man!! Get over to Consumer Tire Mentor!!

Been taking my car there for a couple of years for anything from an oil change, new tires or repairs. They do quality work with competitive pricing and GREAT customer service. Everyone's always been honest with me and taken to time to answer any questions.

I had a slow leak in my tire for months. I decoded to stop and see what the problem was? I stopped at the store and they took me immediately and found a sliver if metal in my tire. They fixed my tire and I was out of the store in a hour. All this with out an appointment. Great Job.

Very efficient in explaining and letting us look at what they were doing Wayne is a very nice gentleman I cannot remember the lady who was working the desk but she was so kind and also explained everything well

Awesome shop with great people! Front tire blew out on route 20 from being pushed against the curb, and they jumped in to put a new tire on for me right away and got me on my way.
