Cute little shop that’s fun to look around and would be great after a long hike in CVNP! They have gifts galore for all ages, and snacks to help refuel, including Michell’s ice cream! Check them out after a hike, it’s fun!

Stopped in here because my kids saw the train outside, and were getting antsy for the Christmas train ride coming up, so I offered to stop in here and see what train stuff they had, and let me just say, I was blown away. Staff were super friendly, the quality of items in the store are top notch, and the atmosphere itself is beautifully welcoming. I got most of my Christmas shopping done without even intending for that to happen 😂 I even got myself a hoodie that was on sale, but I lucked out because it was one of the prettiest in the store, and I couldn’t believe it was on sale. I highly recommend checking out this shop for your Christmas gifts, and support our national parks right in our backyard!

Parking can be tight, but park at the Lock 29 lot and enjoy the short stroll along the CVSR and Cuyahoga River.

This gift shop, located right near lock 29 trailhead, helps support the Cuyahoga Valley National Park system. Plenty of gift ideas from apparel, books, maps, knick knacks and keepsakes. You can also buy snacks for your day in the park. A must stop.

My first time there! What a place! The woman working there on 2/13 was sweetheart! Explained everything to me about being a member taking care of the park. So many beautiful things there! You could find a gift for anyone. Loved the atmosphere here. I will be here again I know that!

Trail Mix is one of the best national park gift shops I've ever visited. They have lots of different clothes, including things that are particular to Cuyahoga Valley National Park like bike jerseys and train-themed things. They also have locally made gift items, art, and crafts; some of these are pricey, but they're artisan made and unique, so they'll cost more than some mass-produced souvenir made in China. The staff is always friendly, the store has a good layout that makes it easy to move around, and they have a selection of foods in their fridge that can provide a tasty lunch or snack. There are a few indoor and outdoor tables where you can eat if you don't want to take the food away for a picnic. Their Boston branch, which is open seasonally, is also good, but the main shop in Peninsula has the best selection. Only downside is limited parking, but there's lots of additional parking nearby in the trailhead lots. Last but not least, purchasing here helps support Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which is a very worthy cause!

Adorable little gift shop. We go once or twice a year—they carry area-specific clothes, some snack items (great for hikes or biking) and I got one of my favorite mugs there. Workers are friendly, and the place is always very clean and well organized.

Tons of items to buy, should have checked here before picking out items at the visitor center's much smaller selection!

Love, love, love our CVNP. we think it is better than most of the national parks. The Trail Mix Store holds a wonderful selection of park related apparel, hand made items from local artists and of cause Mitchell's ice cream. The best.

A wonderful visitors center -- plenty of literature and brochures on Peninsula sites and hiking and activities. Also a small gift shop. Pop, water, snacks, a small place to sit with small tables. Kinda hidden entrance on the side of the art gallery with a small parking area. Need a mask. Very nice & helpful workers there.

I have been to so many National Parks and with that comes a stop in the stores, most run by conservancies/foundations of said parks.

This store by far has one of the best selections of merchandise for all age groups in one place I have ever seen.
(On my list it ranks #2, only to be outdone by the Hopi House at the Grand Canyon NP in Arizona.)

Trail Mix has quality merchandise and a great deal of it comes from local artists and businesses that give back.

I would recommend you go here if you are looking for a Cuyahoga National Park branded item :) it is a lot cheaper than the actual National Park gift store and there are a ton more options then the national park gift store as well. It's also right next to a really awesome restaurant

Great selection of information, literature and clothing relative to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park plus limited information on other National Parks. Sales support the Park. Some food concessions. Very neat and orderly setup.

Nice parks store with cool shirts, maps, books on local pars abs trails, birds, etc. Local foods like honey, ice cream, pickles, syrups, jams, etc.

Very cool little store. It's a nice family option to stop into if you're biking. They have all sorts of gifts and snack items.
