Purplebrown Farm Store

Spontaneous stop while passing through. So glad we chose to do so. Lots of cute food gift items and local products. The lavender shortbread cookies are a MUST as is the chocolate milk. Friendly, helpful employees and very fair prices too.

This little store is wonderful! Seasonal produce and artisan foods at their finest.

Had one of their Chocolate Brownie Cookies, and it was definitely worth the calories. Heavenly.

Looking forward to trying out the other products we purchased.

Went here to pick up some fresh local grown ginger and turmeric that my buddy told me about.

No regrets learning about this wonderful store. They have a lot of locally made food and grown produce and they even display the farm name that grew the produce.

Prices are decent too. Definitely keeping this place in mind.

Deliciously curated selection of all the best local local farmers. Located off the beaten path, but slow down and follow the signs ✌ Don’t worry that the parking lot is overflowing, not everyone is inside the store 😑 Find a spot, take a deep breath to release any parking stress 🤪 and follow the garden path around the front to enter 🌻Go slowly and choose something from every little section: cold drinks, hummus/spreads, produce, meat, pickled local produce, sauces, dairy, eggs, honey, jams, bread and baked goods 😋 Also coffee, tea, herbal products 🪴

Stopped in during the rampfest. Bought several items. There was also a food truck that used their items and loved it! Glad I was able to get "clean" food. The only problem was I purchased a container of red beets. Felt the top one, it was fine. The lady put them in bag and never said anything. Got them home (1 hr away) and ONLY the top one was good. 1 was like a shriveled potato. The others were soft. I called and received my refund, after them having issue with computers. I will go back when in area

This store is such a gem. It's bright and airy and gorgeously curated, it's a super convenient location when you're hiking and kayaking the CVNP, and I am so thrilled that it features so much fresh, local and healthy food. It's exactly what Peninsula needed.

I love supporting local and organic farms. This store has the very best farmers and vendors from our area. The other farm stores near by, can NOT even say they support local. Szalays and Kreigers are entertainment staples, but Purplebrown is the farmer community supported favorite. I shop here first every week.

So exciting to be able to be able to buy local organic food! I love that I don’t have to wait for a farmers market every week but can go on my own schedule. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely plan a visit! And try the Stutzman Farm spelt crackers, they’re heavenly!!

What a gem ! Found this store by accident on one of my long runs in the area. Wow ~ basically a great whole food grocery store at your finger tips. If you enjoy eating and supporting a small farm store this is your chance. Fresh eggs, local in season produce, cheeses, meat ... Favorite things Naan bread and some Puff corn w/honey. Stop in grab a couple of items and head out on the trails... Cheers!

We try to buy as many of our groceries here as we can! It's important to support our local farmers but also this in turn supports the community as a whole. Also, everything we get there is soooo good! Appreciate the quality and highly recommend to everyone!

Feels like a big open market, which is a breath of fresh air in our world of mega superstores ,definitely try thier fresh pop tarts when they have .

Outstanding selection of locally grown/made food without all the woke pretense and insufferable preciousness that normally goes along for the ride. Now a regular. And I'm the last person you'd expect to be that. Go check it out.
