I’ve only been to Brownies once but loved it. The atmosphere was laid back. The bartender was great and just an overall great experience. Looking forward to going back.

They have a kitchen coold beer and mixed drinks

This place has been revamped since the prior pics on google. Great bar that reasonably priced. The bar has available outlets to plug in chargers for cell phones. Bathrooms are clean. There is a pool table, dart board, booths, and outside seating. Super friendly bar staff!

Brownies.
From an old Irish bar to a budding spacious alcove in the pocket area of Sacramento.
The bar still retains, as of 8/28/19, the name Brownies. Some of the old patrons still frequent during day hours, and sometimes into the night. The climate of the new blends with the changing winds of the new ownership, but the mood and effect still welcomes the intimate experience of your favorite hole-in-the-wall bar.
You can get some fantastic Mexican from a wonderful restaurant nearby, right at the bar. The magic in the experience comes from the people that still continue to frequent the new direction.
The new design has booth seating and pool tables with sports channels available, but I think you'll come for the experience.
Cash only, but there's an ATM inside.
These kinds of places are what I seek in the town I love.

Very laid back and fun energy, a good mix of ages, and wonderful bartenders! This really feels like it could easily become a home bar.

Understand the place is sweet dive that actually has good food but you won't find much of that after lunch,. After that, the crowd goes from day- time professional drinkers and then to that of transitioning to a quite friendly afternoon crowd that just keeps getting more interesting as the hours go by. All the same, my recommendation is to both arrive and leave as early as possible as it is there are only two types at Brownie's: those who are better at drinking than you and those who are not. In a place like this, it's always best to go ahead and leave before you learn who's who. Cheers!

Great bar with wonderful staff and regulars and in a great setting. There's a good selection of liquor and bottled beers with food served during the day.

Brownies is a very cool place, my husband and I have been back several times since our first visit! The Bartenders are awesome ! Really great time!

Fun place with cool tunes on the jukebox. Place was packed and bartender asked me what i was drinking as i approached the bar .Very nice spot

Went there for St Patrick's Day the drinks were good and the corned beef tacos were on point.

Small.....quaint...old school vibe....and the bartender was great......
