Hotel Minturn

Excellent! I was a little reluctant to stay here with some of the reviews criticizing the parking and check in process, but those must be old. Everything is clean, modern and chic. Rooms are equipped with a fridge, a Keurig, dishes and a microwave.

Clean, quaint, homey room on the second floor. Nicely appointed. Enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning. Exactly what we were looking for!

Our 2 night stay was wonderful! The 2nd floor room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The 3 windows and a sliding door onto a small deck allowed a nice breeze to flow through the room, which kept the room cool. Restaurants and hiking nearby. Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I are regular guests of Hotel Minturn. We've stayed 4 times including a 10-day Christmas trip and have several more trips on the books - we just love this place so much! Minturn is an adorable little mining town and after several visits you begin to feel like a local.

THE COMMUTE: The CME shuttle will take you directly to the hotel door; or we've rented a car too and the drive from the hotel to Vail Mountain is just 5 minutes (2 exits down). A bus system also operates between Minturn and Vail for a more affordable route. This hotel is in Minturn, not Vail proper, so yes, you'll need to plan on how you'll get your skis on the ground. But you're not paying vail prices so it's a tradeoff we're always willing to make.

THE HOTEL: They have 4 different rooms of varying sizes and each are comfortable and include everything you need. We spent 10 days in the lower mountain room (basically in the basement) and found it cozy and quiet; we never got cabin fever. Each room has coffee essentials and kitchenette items, though we usually opt for breakfast at Sticky Fingers across the street (careful, there can be long lines!) or dinner at the Saloon. Comfortable beds and linens and the cleaning staff are very kind!

A previous guest indicated they had trouble getting into the hotel. It's true there is no front-desk reception, rather instructions are emailed ahead of time. We've never had an issue getting in and I would bet that was a fluke. Amanda and the other hotel contacts have always been very, very communicative with us and are about as sweet as they come.

I almost hate to write a review because we love our little hideaway, but after so many stays and superb service, Hotel Minturn deserves it. Simply, we love this place, it's our home away from home!

This place is a jewel! Unique hotel with just a handful of rooms nestled in historic downtown Minturn. Wonderful views and walk to several fun gift shops and great eateries in 2 minutes or less. Easy keyless access via electronic entrance and room codes, size of property doesn’t warrant onsite staff and lobby which I find refreshing. The place is architecturally pleasing both inside and out, has high quality finishes and stylish western decor. Best of all and the biggest reason I keep coming back, I love how comfortable the beds and linens are and the modern bathroom with walk-in shower.
Submitting this review as I am about to depart, I am already looking forward to my next stay with dates TBD.

Great room. Radiant floor heat, comfortable bed, great water pressure and soaps. Amazon Firestick (that people left YouTube TV and Netflix logged into). Great town too - go to the Tai place around the corner!

We were very happy with this place. It's quiet and just kind of too it's self. Neither of us are people persons so it's perfect. Plus nice little amenities and comfortable bed. We will be back
