What a wonderful book store, the place has charm, and the character of an old book shop, so many nice books, it’s clean and well organized. The associates were very helpful.

A delightful bookstore on three levels. Something for everyone and a great selection of Cleveland and Ohio based authors. Especially liked the array of graphic novels. Very cozy.

Your typical, locally owned, small bookstore. Friendly staff. Cozy environment. Good book options. The kids room was nice, especially with origami and mobiles from the ceiling that my infant loved staring at. Fair pricing. Some vinyl in the basement was a fun surprise.

Had been wanting to go here for a while, but rarely travel to or through Hudson. Finally had the chance over the weekend, and it was a delightful pit stop. I’d say that this bookstore has less curation than others, which just means more time for you to browse the bookshelves on your own. Amazingly, this place has three levels of books and is organized by genre. I left with a novel and a vegan dessert cookbook. Pleasant experience and well worth a visit!!

The Learned Owl is amazing. Do you need a book for yourself? They have you covered. Your kids? SO MANY choices with cute matching stuffed animals for many of the characters!

Need book sets for a classroom library? They go above and beyond to help out a school!!!

They will definitely make it so you have all your book needs met!

Building looks small from the outside, but is packed with good books. Lovely local bookstore. Friendly staff.

I was impressed with all of the thematic displays and variety. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Lots of nice places to have a seat to look over a book or two. Three levels of books.

Cute bookstore! Friendly employees and a good atmosphere. The building/layout is definitely not disability-friendly; not a critcism on the owners or anything, there's not really anything to be done about that, just a note for other customers. Overall, this is one of my favorite bookstores!

I keep coming back and editing this to add more praise. :) Worth reiterating, the associates here are really great and helpful, both in-person and over the phone. Also, the more bookstores I see around NE Ohio, the more I appreciate Learned Owl. The selection is excellently curated, and almost anything they don't have can be ordered online then delivered to the store for pickup. Hudson is lucky to have such a fabulous bookstore!

What a sweet and simple bookshop with diverse genres. Since they did not have the book I wanted on hand one particular day, they ordered it for me. They kept me posted on the status of my order all the way until it arrived. The vendor was helpful and patient. I was happy to have gotten to know this business. Support them.

Such a great local bookstore. I haven't been in years and the woman running the shop (owner?) was really friendly and helpful even though we came a little close to closing time. Found great books and looking forward to coming back soon.

Great place that always seems to have a surprisingly high number of titles available. Oh, and the workers are knowledgeable enough to recommend some great kids books. My favorite place to buy books.

It is a very nice bookstore. I was looking for a book series I've been getting for my grandson and since I've purchased them all there they could look up which ones I have bought. The staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable about books they carry and will order a book if they don't have what you need. I also like that they gift wrap books for you!

Very cool independent book store. It has a basement, a ground floor and an upstairs crammed with an eclectic assortment of books. They have a special rack with all the classics like Don Quixote, George Orwell, Arthur Miller, Hemmingway, etc. Lady I met running the store was very kind, pleasant and helpful. Definitely a wonderful place to find a gift for yourself or any book lover you know!

A little slice of heaven. This bookstore is charming and offers a wonderful selection of books. The customer service is great when ordering too. They have helped me a ton to build our collection of kids books for my 2nd grader who is a picky reader. They call when your order is in and offer contactless pick-up for those who don’t feel comfortable perusing the shelves.

The only independent bookstore for miles! They boast a great selection, offer socially distant browsing options and free gift wrapping. A delightful shop with good vibes and a long history of "being there" for bibliophiles.

Such a quaint little bookshop. It's so nice walking in to an old building and seeing all the books lining shelves to the ceiling. They were super friendly and do little events. My kids loved it in there and were so happy to find books they're excited for.

One of the dwindling number of independent bookshops. They have a nicely arranged selection so kids are not milling around lengthy biographies. The shop is cozy with books a variety of books, more like the bookshop from a fantasy novel than a volume bookseller. The staff was helpful and looked up the book I was thinking of and offered to order since they didn't have it on hand.
