Upper Sandusky Reservoir #1

We walked here from a trail connected to Harrison Smith Park and one other. It was a good walk with plenty of beautiful, healthy trees and wildflowers along the way. The resevoir has a boat ramp and a small dock right near the main parking area. We brought our dogs to the end of the boat ramp and let them cool down and drink some fresh clean water before we headed back. If there's one true thing about a corgi, they will swim anywhere even before they actually learn to swim, her first time in the water. Restrooms are clean though it's only one stall with a shower curtain over it.

Nice place. Had no idea it existed. Really nice trail to walk around the reservoir. They have bathrooms. You can fish here. It was a nice surprise find.

Beautiful reservoir with a launch spot for kayaks and a couple docks to sit on. Restroom is clean. Paths around the reservoir are kept in good condition which connects to the other reservoir and the park. Disc golf also present near the reservoir.

We've been walking here for a few years. Always some kind of wildlife to see while you get your walk on. We've seen Herons, Geese, Cormorants, Ducks, Egrets, Redwing, Deer, Blackbirds etc. Enjoyable place!
