Decent size parking lot. The road connecting Vail to this trail head is a dirt road and had some deterioration in the middle as expected on any 14er trail head. There is a toilet but it was out of toilet paper when I went there. There is a campground nearby and the parking gates pad by hikers pretty early on.

Rugged road access. Potty at lot!!
Not a real big lot. Good signage for trail.
