Sacramento Fire Department Station 56

I'm a 75 year old woman. Two months ago I suffered an orthostatic hypotension event while home alone at the end of a bath--in my walk-in tub. I folded like an accordion. After I regained consciousness, I realized my entire body was wedged into the space designed only for my calves & feet. My arms were pinned above my head in crucifixion position and I couldn't look up. And I was scared to death. My son and DIL called 911 & 3 EMTs responded. They quickly established an approach, tho' I'm not sure if they'd ever experienced this particular situation. With a minimum of fuss & the aid of two bedsheets, they popped me out like a champagne cork. Two of them had to stand on top at the ends the tub, where there was very little space foot space. I ultimately scrubbed the boot marks off of the bench, but the marks where they had to balance on the very thin ends remain in tribute. Thanks, Guys, from the bottom of my heart---and my bottom.

These gentlemen whisked me away and took EXCELLENT care of me. Was having some health issues, and they ran me to SUTTER HOSPITAL. These guys are an AWESOME BUNCH ... !!! THANK YOU STATION 56 for your help.

EMTs basically killed my brother en route, no explanation given whatsoever. He told me how they treated him like garbage and it was so offensive they made the entire medical community look bad by allowing them to continue to abuse SICK people! My brother had a disabled son who is now without any family except for me! It is disgusting how these POS losers are still allowed to have any public contact. All the one-star reviews here should be enough to open an internal affairs investigation. They are VILE!

Heartbroken today by a firefighter's actions and the way they behaved in public, on Christmas to a ordinary situation. For it being Christmas and a fire fighter I was very taken back by their behavior and the way they behaved over absolutely nothing but kindness. Very disappointed and Heartbroken to think these are the people that could possibly be in control of a life threatening matter such as a fire when they act like a terrified and threatened women standing in line. 💔 Hope this is just a one off and not all our fire fighters are rude, terrified personnel.

The Sacramento fire department is a very unprofessional fire department, seems like they don’t want to their jobs right and complain like little girls. Very unprofessional in a rude tone and if you thought Sacramento police department is unprofessional well you still haven’t gotten the most out of it. This department is just the icing on the cake on how rude they are. I am so thankful I live in the county and not Sacramento city which is a very dirty city.

These are the worst paramedics ever I'm 6 weeks pregnant and have blood pressure problems I was,having chest pains and stomach pains and they refused to take me to e.r saying all I had was indigestion this happened two days in a roll catch a cab to e.r and had severe kidney stones they are not professional at all if u can just catch a cab these people have no idea what they are doing and don't care

Horrible service they are lazy and don’t do anything to help the community and never give you a straight answer they play games and obviously don’t take things seriously.

apparently this fire department has sex offenders working in it. Beware of riding in an ambulance when you are incapacitated. :(

Some people there just have nasty attitudes
