Super Yum! We got two loafs of SD and 2 Sourdough Pizza doughs to take home. We let the kids add the pizza toppings and they had such a blast! 20 minutes at 450 in heat box and we had perfect homemade pizza! It was amazing! The dough is tangy with just the right amount of “zing”, which I love! Most pizza dough is too sweet! It was light and fluffy and still rising like crazy when we got home! Then, Sourdough French Toast for Breakfast!!!! Yum! One suggestion to the owner: skip the paper cartons and just sell the dough in baggies! The dough stuck to the cartons as it rose over making a stick mess. 10-Stars for friendliness and super cute little spot! We will stop again to&fro skiing to pick up our weekly rations!

Maggie is an exceptional baker. I’ve been a customer of her bread club for years and am over the moon with her new shop; truly, if it were located in Breck I would go every single day! As it stands, it’s 100% worth the drive to Alma. The bakery is adorable and the baked goods are out of this world. I was super impressed by the ham and cheddar sandwich, and the chocolate croissant is a family favorite.

I tried both the chocolate chip cookie and the cinnamon roll, they were FANTASTIC! I didn't even eat them fresh because I wanted them after work that day and the next. They were still GREAT! I'll definitely be back every so often to pick up some goods.

The owner, Maggie is super nice. If you are passing through Alma, stop in here on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and treat yourself.

This bake shop is amazing! Everything is made fresh and in house. You can absolutely tell that the owner/baker is doing what she loves because all items taste like her heart was poured into them. I had the multigrain Country Sourdough loaf, a blueberry and lemon curd brioche danish, and the chocolate chunk cookie. I’ve eaten them over multiple days and they still taste very fresh. This is now going to be a regular stop for me. If you are going to or staying in Breckenridge, this is must visit location if you want high quality baked goods for a memorable trip. For those of us that live or stay on the Alma side of the pass…we are very lucky!!

Maggie is an amazing baker. The quality here is even better than my favorite bakery in Denver where there are about 20 bakeries to choose from. Being able to find sourdough this good in such a small town is really rare. We're so glad she opened up down the road from us!

Wow, wow, wow! From the moment you walk thru the front door you feel the warmth. Immediately hit with the delicious smell of Sourdough and a pleasant smile. Everything looked amazing and I wanted to try it all.
What we did try was the most amazing ham and cheese croissant, a savory caramelized onion and cheese pastry, cinnamon roll and a loaf of Sourdough. We will be back... frequently!

So happy to have an amazing bakery option in Alma! Cute little space, centrally located downtown with an array of menu options. Picked up an olive focaccia loaf and pastry today to try - both taste amazing, generous sizes and super fresh! Can’t wait to try absolutely everything :)

We bought one of everything at this delightful quaint bakery, and each item was more delicious than the last. The breads were superlative, and the pastries were some of the best we've ever enjoyed. Maggie was a delight as well. Highly recommend visiting Bristlecone whenever you're in town!

Cute artisan bakery shop serves Yummy homemade breads and pastry. Everything looks so good that we bought a variety of goodies, big cinnamon roll perfect sweetness, the best chocolate flakey buttery croissants I ever had, and tasty apple crumble pastry. Maggie is an excellent baker. Delivery to Breckenridge and points in Park County. Good sourdough, croissants, cinnamon rolls (that are like morning buns). Local wheat milled in-house or smartly sourced. She knows what a bagel is supposed to taste like. If you're here for a ski vacation, pre-order some bread from Bristlecone, buy in some unsalted butter from the grocery store, bring some flake salt, and you'll make it a tradition.

Stopped in for a treat while driving through the area and it did not disappoint! Almond croissant, cookie, and danish were delicious!

Amazing bread--Paris quality. It is kind of funny that you can find this in Alma, but the owner's passion clearly shows.

I came across Bristlecone while searching for hikes on Google Maps. My family was staying in Blue River for a vacation and we loveee small bakeries so we ordered two loaves of bread, two orders of cinnamon and cardamon buns, chocolate chip cookies, and bagels. We ate it all in 5-6 days and everything was fantastic. Tough to pick a favorite but the salted chocolate chip cookies were fantastic but I would recommend everything. Even better, they delivery to Breckenridge some days of the week. Please support Maggie and her amazing baked goods!

We ordered several times from Bristlecone bake shop while vacationing in Breckenridge. Maggie's baked goods are absolutely delicious!! We are excited to return so that we can enjoy her amazing breads and sweets!

Wow, purchases are rarely this satisfying. Some of the best bagels and cookies I've ever had, still hot when I picked them up. If you're in the area, order some baked goods and live your best life. Even got some trail recommendations when I picked up my order!

We ordered the salted chocolate chip cookies and bagels and they were fabulous! Bristlecone was right by our VRBO and the online ordering was very convenient! Highly recommend :)
