Billy's Market & Deli

Affordable and hits the spot. The sandwich I ordered was hearty and made just as I had asked. I'm picky and have lots of requests, but the staff was patient. There's a good selection for drinks too. I also bought my Powerball ticket and some headache medicine. Easy One-stop shop if you are on the move like me.

Billy's Market is located across the street from the main jail, they make the best sandwiches and have the coldest sodas in town.

One of the best places to grab a sandwich. Love the staff..i always get a laugh when I go in there.

I came in said Hi, & got nothing but attitude looks from the owner. I was shopping for juice & I wasn't there but less than 10mins before the owner & his friend was kicking me out for picking up the an putting it back. In which I have to do cause I'm Allergic to citric acid in juice. He said the owner said I was using up his air. When I tried to explain he shouted vulgar things at me told me to get out. So I wouldn't recommend my friends or worse enemies to that Market.

I was falsely accused of shoplifting and detained against my will here! Do not patronize!!!

Pro - close to the Amtrak station, museum, and other places.

Con - Not a friendly store owner. I came in to buy lottery tickets. So I got the play slip and head over to the table to fill it out. He yell at me saying it's only for paying customers that buy sandwiches from his deli department.

What?!?! I'm not a customer because I'm buying lottery tickets from you?!?! Ummm... Excuse me but you getting money from me and if I win, you get even more money. No one is at his tables! He got a dozen takes.

I ready to go out and get lottery tickets someplace else but the next closest one I know of is 20 minutes walk and I still want to finish checking out the museum.

Overall - There are some construction work being done around area so hopefully there will be a competing business opening soon and than he need to change his attitude or he will go out of business soon.

I will not even try out his sandwiches the way he was acting. I bet his sandwiches are awful since no one buying it!

If your not white, dont expect to be serviced only looked at while you standing there while he just talks to a friend.... Now wonder it looks empty inside!

This place sold me chips expired a year ago that tasted like plastic. Shelves were bare and service was less then par.

Unfriendly place - you can tell by the signs on the door ("No change without purchase", "No public restrooms").

Can't even say hello when you walk in. Turned around and left. No customer service today!!!
