Place fills up within half an hour of opening but it’s divine so highly recommend! We got around 2 dishes per person which is why it’s expensive but you want to try everything on the menu so it’s worth it.

We loved the ribs and potstickers the most. All the dishes were so flavorful though!

Dishes our group got were the green beans (they have fantastic lamb with them), ribs (the honey sauce could be eaten on its own), the kfc (so so spicy but perfect texture), potstickers (fried and delicious dipping sauce), papaya salad (fresh and perfect start to the meal), curry soup (if you like yellow curry you’ll love this), and the special (it was a Korean beef rice soup and our least favorite but nice after a ski day).

We were warned to arrive early, when they open (4:30 pm), as they don't do reservations & they're always packed. Even though we arrived after 6, we lucked out, we didn't have to wait long.

And OMG!, the food was a creative amalgamation of all our favorite Asian cuisines, from Green Curry Chicken, Korean Fried Chicken ("KFC"), the highlight of our dinner, & Chili-Oil Udon, to rice ball dumplings, addictive Sichuan ground lamb green beans, & Hoisin Cashew-Shrimp.

Twists on Indian, Vietnamese, & Malaysian food too.

Our server recommended we order 3-4 dishes to share, family style.

They also offer to-go, put-together meals.

Lively atmosphere, charming, welcoming, bustling blue culinary home away from home.

Hat's off to the chef, servers, & host.

Food was fabulous! I ordered the pot stickers and Chiang Mai noodles to go. My order was ready on time and the staff was very efficient at making sure I left with everything I would need to enjoy the meal. Fortunately, I didn’t have to travel far before diving in. The first couple of pot stickers were some of the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had some pretty good ones while living in Japan). They are definitely something that you want to dig into as soon as possible because they did get a little bit rubbery after sitting for a while. The Chiang Mai noodles were very tasty. Definitely the best Thai food that I’ve had in Idaho. I highly recommend, but plan accordingly because if you order the pot stickers and can’t eat them for 10+ minutes, they may not be as good as you hoped.

We arrived right after they opened, and the place filled fast. Had the cukes, ribs and the Korean fried chicken. The flavors were on point..so good. Food came out quickly and friendly staff.

OVER THE TOP! Incredible quality and variety of Asian food. Best I’ve had in a long time - whodathunk in Ketchum ID? Waitress has worked there for 13y - she was great - knew her stuff and made great recs. Would eat here every night if I go back to Ketchum!

DELICIOUS, and open late!

The online ordering was perfect for introverts (me). They were one of the few places open late and I was kind of desperate to get food for my kids (thought it would be easier to get food at one of the many restaurants on the Sun Valley Lodge property- not so). But boy am I ever happy about it now!

Everything was so good. My 2 and 9-yr-old loved the noodles and rice. The chicken was fiery, but very very yummy.
Will be back again soon!

We now look forward to going to Rickshaw anytime we visit sun valley. It is the best - mouth watering food, super friendly service, and a fun atmosphere. The udon noodles are one of my favorite dishes all time. A great tip is to put your name in then grab a beer from TNT down the street while you wait for your table. The wait list can look long but always seems to move faster than you expect.

Sooo delicious, well worth the wait! We had the chili udon noodles, Korean fried chicken, chiang mai noodles, and hoisin shrimp. Among those dishes, the KFC (deliciously saucy and spicy) and shrimp (sweet and crunchy and tangy) were the standouts! If you’re on the fence, I’d skip the chiang Mai noodles, which were good but not our favorites.
If you haven’t been before - you leave your name and number at the front and they text when a table is ready. There’s not a good way to tell how long the wait might be, so show up early if you can!

Phenomenal. 100% worth the wait. We had the Chiang Mai curry noodles, japchae, Korean fried chicken, Vietnamese pork ribs, sautéed green beans, green curry chicken, the list goes on. Everything is excellent and unique. They also have an extensive tea menu which was great (honeybush was my favorite). Everything is also priced very well.

I ordered the Chili Oil Udon Noodle and didn’t have any expectation. But what was served to me was heavenly! It was a delicious dish, yet very simple and comforting! At first, when the dish was placed before me, I thought it looked pretty but wasn’t impressive. When I mixed in all the ingredients, the fragrance was very inviting!! Roasted peanuts and sesame seeds, finely chopped spring onion and cilantro placed on perfectly cooked udon noodles that were placed on hot chili oil - together made for an amazing dinner! 😊
Their menu has many vegan-friendly options. Mind you, it is a very eclectic menu, but comprises of many yummy South Asian dishes.

I really loved the place itself and the service. I don’t like it when people fawn over me at restaurants, yet I like feeling welcomed and respected - especially when I am traveling and eating alone at restaurants. I feel like this place really nailed it with their service! 🙂

I was seated at the bar and it was fun to see many little artifacts from South East Asia on the counter!

Great vegan options. They made the green curry with tofu and green beans with tofu for us. Udon noodles with chilli noodles were really good as well. Really friendly wait staff, too!

So nice , we went twice. Tried everything on the menu and it was delicious and well thought out. Our server (Crossan?) was incredible. Special restaurant that provides great value

This was the real deal. I had Sri Lankan Dahl (parripu in Sinhala), and although soupier than normal, the right flavors were all there! I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Sri Lanka (92-94). I just dumped my rice into the soup and became one happy girl. If you would have had pol sambol and gotukola, I would have never left. Well done clap clap clap.

Unique. Eccentric. Delicious.

I asked for the Samui Squid and the Chiang Mai Curry Noodles and with my Thai experience I was pleasantly surprised with the different take on these dishes.

The Samui Squid had this sauce called NUAC CHAM which is an acidic sauce with a very light viscosity that has salty and spicy and sweet notes it was WILD

I also had the Chiang Mai curry noodles which had a light sweet base and the beef was a little sweet maybe from the curry but was really complimented with the fermented cabbage and the kimchi which really made a pop in the flavor

If you haven’t eaten here and you’re visiting Ketchum, then you’re seriously missing out. There isn’t a single restaurant better than rickshaw. The flavor of each dish is so on point. They nailed regional flavor complexes from multiple different locations in Asia. We ordered the Chiang Mai Curry Noodles (tastes identical to how it does in northern Thailand/Laos), potstickers (cooked perfectly), Papaya salad (divine) and the KFC of course. I’d order each one of these again and again. The waitstaff is incredible, service is on point and food is to die for.

No complaints. Extremely high quality, flavorful food. Casual atmosphere. Good service. Will definitely be coming back.

Customer service by Ciamara and Joanie was phenomenal - Wisdom Saki was so smooth. Best Thai Ribs you will ever have.

All around delicious food and great service at this cozy spot. Limited number of tables and about 6-8 spots at the bar. Enjoyed every moment!

Wow, clean flavors. Wonderful for takeout. Mixed greens plus the side tofu is great. Udon noodles are a must purchase.
