My recent encounter with Tim Dahle Car Dealership in Bountiful, Utah, has left me deeply disheartened and compelled to share my experience. What should have been a simple car-buying process for my wife and stepdaughter turned into a prolonged and agonizing ordeal. The litany of broken promises, unaddressed issues, and an overall lack of professionalism has left an indelible mark on what should have been an exciting milestone.

The Promised Inspection and Failed Delivery:
Our journey with Tim Dahle started with the promise of a thorough 162-point inspection for the vehicle my stepdaughter was interested in. This pledge led us to believe that we were making a reliable investment. However, our optimism was short-lived as the dealership held the car for an inexplicable three days to conduct the so-called inspection. Despite this, the vehicle was delivered with glaring issues that cast serious doubts on the dealership's integrity.

A Disastrous First Impression:
The disappointment was immediate. Shortly after embarking on her maiden drive, my stepdaughter's car began to reveal a string of alarming problems. The left headlight promptly malfunctioned, and the ominous glow of the check engine light raised concerns about the vehicle's overall health. To compound matters, the engine produced an unsettling rough noise, intensifying our unease.

A Cascade of Issues:
Returning the car to the dealership was a foregone conclusion. However, our ordeal only deepened as the door wouldn't open upon arrival. It was an ironic metaphor for the closed-door treatment we received from the staff. Subsequent inspections unveiled not one, but two engine leaks and the devastating revelation of a blown head gasket. The cost of these repairs reached astronomical heights, far surpassing the vehicle's value itself.

A Daughter's Trauma:
The emotional toll on my stepdaughter, a first-time car buyer, is immeasurable. Her initial excitement turned into distress and disillusionment as she navigated through this nightmarish experience. This traumatic ordeal has not only tainted her perception of car buying but has also marred what should have been a positive milestone in her life.

Unprofessional Treatment and Delayed Resolution:
Throughout this harrowing process, what remains most astonishing is the dealership's lack of accountability and empathy. The absence of a loaner car during the repair process was a further blow, amplifying our inconvenience. The constantly shifting dates for vehicle replacement only deepened our sense of betrayal and frustration.

A Glimmer of Hope Amidst Despair:
Amidst the chaos, it took an astonishing nine visits to the dealership for us to finally arrive at a resolution. A vehicle was eventually found that my stepdaughter felt comfortable with, but this does little to erase the trauma and turmoil we endured. No one should have to endure such an agonizing and drawn-out process to acquire a vehicle.

My experience at Tim Dahle Car Dealership in Bountiful, Utah, has left an indelible mark on my perception of car dealerships and their commitment to customer satisfaction. The broken promises, unaddressed issues, and unprofessional treatment have created an ordeal that I wish upon no one, not even my worst enemy. This review serves as a warning to potential customers, urging them to exercise caution and consider alternative options when contemplating Tim Dahle for their car-buying needs.

Pure predatory behavior. Dishonest and in multiple law suits. Self included.

Dishonest business where the guys will try to add an extra $3000+ onto the price of a vehicle. And they will then try to force you to use their financing which is at a rate of 10%. And I also noticed they did NOT honor their advertised price from the internet. They added on an “price” on top of that and refused to say what the extra price was.
Never in my life have I seen such dishonest crooks masquerading as business men.
