Took my 1st harvested mule deer to Crippen's, also my first time with a processor. An absolute professional experience. Everything was explained and priced out. I received my deer back in summer sausage (delicious), ground, loins, and backstraps. All wrapped, labeled, and ready to go. With several wild game processors available, I settled on Crippen's. Great meat product options and tasty results. They even suggested a few taxidermy places and I had one that returned my euro mount in short order. I even got some tips for my upcoming elk hunt. There was a line, and they were very busy! Troy works fast! Call ahead is my suggestion and check their website for updates. I got my deer processed ahead of their expected delivery. A great business to bring my next successful hunt!

Hunting deer in gun season shot one on nov.3 called and they gave me names of other lockers that didn't answer phones so called back to get more names. The lady had me hold and came on line and said if I could be there at 8 am on Saturday they would take it. They done an excellent job on everything they processed for me. I would highly recommend them Bill

I brought my first elk here for processing and couldn’t be happier with the service. The facility was well kept and professionally run. After another processor told me that the meat was not perfectly clean and would lose 85% during processing, these guys came through with a 60% return on hanging weight! They’ve definitely earned all of my business for big game processing in CO.

For game processing, it doesn't get any better than Crippen's. Their sincere uncompromising focus on quality and cleanliness can be easily seen. I've used Crippen's for many years every year since they first opened in Lake George. Their reputation continues to grow and spread further far-n-wide every year. To maintain their uncompromising focus, when their cooler fills to capacity with game waiting to be processed they have to turn-away customers. But it's better to do that than making "numbers" more of a priority than quality and cleanliness....

These guys are exceptional! We’ve used them for pronghorn and elk. We love their summer sausage! This facility is second to none. The owners are very professional and their customer service is excellent. Anything and everything we need processed goes here. Highly recommended!

We had our cow from a ranch processed here and they did an amazing job. Everything was so organized (a few families split the cow) and they did all the hard work of dividing it up for us. They did a wonderful job with the cuts and the meat!

I live 30 minutes east of Colorado Springs and these folks are worth the drive. Great people who walk you through the many processing options. My friends and I have used them now for a RoadKill Tag as well as game taken during hunting season. An Honest and Trustworthy business that turns out a quality service.

Big fan here! I had just taken a big bull elk in Saguache and Troy drove part of the way to meet me and take possession. I had intended to remain in CO until it was cut, packaged and frozen but got the call that my daughter was in the hospital and had to drive 19 hours home. My plan was to return the next month however, Murphy's Law intervened and I was unable to return until the end of August. Troy & Heidi were very understanding and stored my elk until I could return. I picked up my elk 3 months later and now, having had a chance to enjoy eating it for the last 3 weeks can honestly say, Crippen's does an outstanding job! My elk was aged to perfection with virtually no loss and tastes better than any elk I have ever had. Very happy with the company, their pricing, amicable service and quality. There is nothing about their processing that can be improved upon. We hunters sacrifice a lot for our game meat...so it's normal to worry about your processor. Entrusting Crippen's was absolutely the right decision. Try em once, you won't go anywhere else afterwards. They set the bar so high other game meat processors need to charter a plane just to see it. Thanks Troy!

Just got my meat back from Crippen and it is outstanding!!! Can't thank these guys enough. The cleanest facility I have ever walked into as a hunter. They have an amazing selection of options and help you make your choices. Do yourself a favor and get some of their peppered jerky. It is the best that I have had. I am not one to write reviews, but these guys deserve it.

I processed a buffalo a large 5 to 6 year old Bull, mostly hamburger with some prime cuts and roast. It all turned out fantastic, the suet that was used was high-quality and added to the taste of my meat. I would also like to thank them for working me into their schedule. Owning restaurants one of the main things that I noticed was how clean the facility is you could eat off the floors. it has a fresh clean smell, not a slaughterhouse smell. The owners are hands-on, very friendly and accommodating, and the prices were more than fair. There was not one drop of blood on the outside of any of my package meat.. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends. Thanks again Crippens !!

Called them end of the session hoping to get lucky. Always a gamble using a new processor, not with these guys. It's a family business with good hard working people. Got my elk back in a timely fashion. Didn't have to remind them and the cuts are great. Thanks Again yall I'll see you guys again at some point. If you need meat processing in the area go here first!

And treated me quite well dropping off my meat. I will have to see what it looks like when it's done. Lots of selections on how you want it prepared into smoked sausage summer sausage fresh sausage or steaks and whatever but the menu is very clear

We just picked up our cow Elk from Crippens Processing yesterday. I am so impressed with the quality of the meat cuts and specialty products we got back. They can cut your steaks to your desired thickness. Troy does a great job getting the meat trimmed professionally, no bad taste. The breakfast and Italian sausage are soooo goood and just the finest quality. They process your animal from start to finish separate and individually. No mixing your meat with batch grind burger and sausage. I wish I ordered a little bit of everything he makes. The jerky is amazing, sooo good. The packaging is all labeled and dated super professionally.
They had time to show my wife and I the shop and the process/tools they use. The shop is sooo clean and immaculate. I was astonished at the cleanliness of the entire place. Even the aging cooler is spotless.
Troy and Heidi, thank you very very much. It was a pleasure doing business with you. And I now have a new favorite hat. We will be back.
