Wigwam Trailhead #609

This place is SO BEAUTIFUL! My fiance literally proposed to me here on our vacation. Like, that beautiful. The trail is decent and somewhat uphill. Beautiful scenery and some water to cross which is fun. Homemade bridges are cute.

Fantastic hike with such diversity in the trail. Very gentle incline through Pine and Aspen thickets. Mostly following Wigwam Creek, so no need to carry lots of water if using filters. We hiked to the beaver ponds. Stunning views. I highly suggest this hike to anyone wanting to explore the area. Makes sure to sign the permit at the sign.

Great hike, many established camping spots, plenty of water access, variety of terrain.....definitely recommend!

Absolutely stunning scenery. Great places to camp and look for crystals,gems, even found an ancient petroglyph!

Great trail with some amazing views. Nothing too challenging as far as elevation change.

Great hiking trail! You do have to drive about 30 minutes down a dirt road to get their. Don't take your prius!

Great big game hunting area with elk, deer and mountain lion.. grouse hunting is good near the campgrounds

Went here my first day in Colorado Springs, the trail and scenery was just amazing.

Awesome trail but the trailhead is in the back of beyond.
