Flies & Lies

Owner awesome, Jessie awesome, Dalton awesome, guide sitting in the shop that refers to customers that are actually paying for flies "as that guy" might want to consider some manners . Plenty of other places to go for gear and such, but because of the previously mentioned people, and my experience with them them over the years, the shop
has earned five stars!

Just Spoke With Dalton over the Phone and asked for some direction on what to use and where to fish this time of year. He was very knowledgeable and super helpful! its refreshing to call and ask for info and get good info, as not all shops give that curtesy to all anglers! 5 star all the way Keep it up Dalton! Darn cool shop, and right on the water. The guys were friendly and helpful. I needed to use the phone due to bad cell service, and ended up buying a cap, flies and some other supplies. Great selection of flies and lies…

We booked a two-day trip with Jesse and Dalton as guides. It was the experience of a lifetime. No exaggeration. The trip was centered around our 93 year old grandfather... a lifelong fisherman who had never been out west. They took incredible care of him and his safety. All the fish we caught was icing on the cake. If you know anything about fly fishing, details matter when it comes to your flies and your spots to fish. These guys knew the river so well. It made a material difference in the size and quantity of trout we brought in. Nice, courteous, and entertaining guys too. I sound like a paid promoter, but that's only because we had such a great time. Highly recommend!!

Fished a half day with Jesse and it was great. Our three person party included a beginner and a first-timer and everyone landed multiple nice fish, but more importantly had a great experience and got to learn some tips and tricks. Jesse's knowledge of the water was top notch and he had the perfect demeanor for our group.

The shop was well stocked with everything you need for a day on the river and I highly recommend both the shop and the guide service.

Rented a cabin on the river and a fly fishing guide for 1 day. Guide was very helpful with choice of flies and area to fish. Stayed for 3 days of fishing great trip
