Tamarack Lodge

What an absolute gem of a hotel! We decided to book a last minute getaway from the city and stumbled across Tamarack as a good option due to its allowance of pets. We were absolutely stunned at the room we got for the price! A beautiful suite with Mountain views and our room door was literally steps away from Sun Valley Rd. We had a cozy fireplace(logs provided by the hotel), a kitchenette, EXTREMELY comfortable bed, balcony with chairs, and a spacious living area. As for the service, Jose was amazing and treated us with so much kindness and hospitality. Everything was just so pleasant and perfect and we’ll be making this our only go to hotel whenever we visit Ketchum/Sun Valley.

Excellent stay!! Fireplace in room and dog friendly. Location is excellent in town. Very clean and check in young lady was super friendly. Would definitely stay again

I had a very good experience with the front desk attendant, and the accommodations that they made for me and my boxer, we are in Sun Valley for my dog to have surgery on his knee and the Tamarack hotel waived our pet fee, and was very efficient on the needs that I needed with me and my dog

Beautiful lodge in Sun valley. My family checked-in late after hours and the process was still seamless. The lodge is tucked in the cutest town with numerous shops and restaurants within walking distance. Don’t want to walk? Rent a bike from the lodge for FREE! Highly recommend.

Great location for not needing to drive once you get into town. The pool was great for our kids. We enjoyed the room for a lodge and the fireplace was good to have for drying coughing for skiing.

I love hotels like the Tamarack Lodge. Very good value in a great location. Nice rooms, comfortable bedding.

10 feet from downtown, rooms extremely clean. Comes equipped with microwave, refer, coffee, tv and bathrobes. Clean pool, beautiful courtyard in the center Best rooms I had to date. Very, very clean, clean.Housekeeping did an amazing job. Can't find a complaint. Laura at the front desk was outstanding.

My husband and I spent one night here on our way from Salt Lake City to Coeur D'Alene. It was such a refreshing and relaxing space to arrive at after many long days on the road. The room was comfortable, clean, and situated perfectly in the town so we could get to know Ketchum on foot. The outdoor hot tub was a major highlight, especially since the desk clerk helped us access it early in the morning. I highly recommend Tamarack Lodge for anyone passing through but I also imagine it would be excellent to stay more days while exploring the area or skiing.

Absolutely loved our experience at this lodge!!!! The lady at the front desk was so nice and inviting. Our room had a fire place and a sliding glass door to an outdoor area. I loved that it was pet friendly. They brought us a dog bowl for our pup, robes and an easy start log for the fireplace. It felt like we were at a little modern cabin or an air bnb. It felt very private and cozy. It was walking distance from where we ate dinner and breakfast. I also called after we left wanting a sticker and the lady at the front said she could mail us one. I really appreciated that! We will definitely be back soon!

Great location! A lot of cute little shops in the area. We had an amazing experience with Todd at the front desk. We visited the area on a week long road trip and hit a deer the night we stayed at the Tamarack Lodge. Todd made us feel safe and comfortable. He was genuine and kind and really made us feel like he cared about what we had just went through. The accommodations/room were just what we needed. We had the best night of rest here in comparison to all the other locations we stopped at along the way.

The staff are very friendly and attentive.
We came to Ketchum to visit a friend who moved to the area.
Our dog was very happy, too.
Cute property. The courtyard is great to spend evenings relaxing. Great location for walking around to local shops.

What a great hotel! I accidentally booked my stay for a week after I arrived and didn’t notice it until check in. They changed over my dates and got me the same rate no problem. The pool and hot tub are clean and nice. The bed was really comfortable. I also really like the breakfast coupon for the coffee house across the street instead of a cheap continental breakfast. Thanks a million Lynn and Todd. You made my stay great.

My parents needed a last minute room for one night of their visit so we booked tamarack and were pleasantly surprised! The rooms are so spacious and comfortable. The upper deck views were great. If we could have got a refund on the other place we had booked for their stay we would have canceled and had them stay at tamarack the whole trip! Great communication, easy check in and out, Comfortable and clean and in a perfect location!

Our weekend stay was great!! Todd the manager and the cleaning staff were very nice and helpful. When we needed anything the service was very prompt. Shops and restaurants were walking distance which was great. This was our first stay in ketchum and definitely stay again. The lodge is also pet friendly and there is a cleanup station which was convenient.

My partner and I just spent three nights at the Tamarack Lodge over New Year's and we loved it! Our room was very clean and comfortable, the staff is very kind and the hotel location is perfect (we walked everywhere in town and caught a shuttle to Bald Mountain around the corner).

Awesome hotel, Todd was very helpful with us in figuring out where to go and eat. Also the motel had everything you would want in a room. Big TV with cable, couch, king sized bed, clean and good A/C & heating. The bathroom was equipped with tons of towels and they had a nice shampoo, conditioner, and body wash setup that I had never seen before staying there. You can tell that the ownership cares

Amazing lodge. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is central to everything here in Ketchum. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place if you have a dog. Kind of an older feel to the building, but well maintained. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Almost knocked off a star because they loudly cleaned the sidewalk at 5:30 AM, but I got over it. Enjoyed my stay.
