Roosevelt Brewing Company & Public House

Went here with the family after moving into town from a larger city. Was worried about some previous reviews, but gave it a shot anyway. The service was quick and courteous and the food was well above average! I enjoyed the Eleanor’s Blonde with a Pied Pepper Pizza.

This is our favorite hang-out in the area and visit often.

Last year we were discouraged a little because there were long waiting times even just to take our drinks orders and service was somewhat disappointing. Now, this issue has been resolved and with this turn-around it is actually a pleasure to visit. We don't come here for the brews as none of us are drinkers but the food is enjoyable even if the menu has stayed the same for the past 2 years.

I definitely recommend the gluten free speciality pie. It is the best gluten free crust we have tried so far.

Having the micro brewery here adds to the ambience and knowledgeable personnel who can relate some of the history of the location is pleasant to listen to.

I certainly very much recommend a visit if in the area. I would even go as far as to state that this is the best hang-out in the region.

Never disappointed! The Waitress was very knowledgeable and sweet. When I had a hard time picking my drink, she offered me samples and I went for some sparkling white wine! I had the Pizza Chicken Bacon Ranch and it was delicious. My husband had a Triple Pig Pie and was full after half if it as well. We will definitely have to share a pizza next time!
The Restroom was super clean and stocked with all Necessities. Thank you for rounding up a great day with a great visit at the Brewery!

Food was fantastic, burger was the best I’ve ever had and the pizza was really good. Beers were different but we liked them. Would recommend 👍🏻

Amazing staff and excellent service! We loved the beer and the pizza was wood fired and delicious.

I came on a Sunday night, so a lot of the beer was gone from the weekend. However, the beer that they still had was good and then they tapped a coconut stout that was amazing! Combine this with the amazing wood-fired pizza and the great people working the bar and it was a great night!

Went in today, had the a pie and a couple beers. The bartender was fantastic and really cool.

Both times I've been to the brewery it's been great! The pizza is delicious and the Valentine's day dinner tonight was amazing! It does get a little crowded so I recommend getting there early.

I eat here every time I'm in or driving through Portales, New Mexico. Great food, very good beer. Love the Green Chili beer. One of the better chili beers I've ever had. Green chili bacon burger was great, too.

Handing a cashier the card, swiping it... And able to leave, Within seconds...
(Not several minutes later, especially when on a lunch break!)

The music was great (I'm an 80s baby, so you can never go wrong with that decade in my book). I enjoyed the beer and the burger, even had some to take home for a snack later! Thanks to the assistant manager (new to her position). She was extremely accommodating and genuinely cared. In this day and age, just getting out of the house and enjoying a meal that I or my husband don't have to cook is a treat in itself! Thank you for providing that! 😁

We had an opportunity to visit the Roosevelt Brewing Company and Publis House while passing through Porales, New Mexico. Because we had a driver, we also had a chance to sample their brew. We each chose the same thing, the New Mexico Cheese Cake sandwiches with the Truffle Fries. I had the flight. The cheese steak was wonderful. The chilies added a layer that I have decided all cheese steak should have. The bread was perfect and didn't try to take over the show. The meat was moist and obviously came from a good cut. Even though the kick of the chilies was there, they didn't steal the show. As far as the fries go, handcut fries with parmesan cheese and truffle oil are things God intended to go together. Try them. You won't be disappointed.

The flight started with a light ale and ended with a milk stout. There was a hazy IPA and a traditional IPA along the way. All were great (with the exception of the milk stout, which I have never liked...so I won't comment further). I settled on a pint outside the flight, the Roosevelt Whippoorwill, another IPA. I think it was 35IBU. It was very drinkable and not the least bit heavy. It was clean, bright, and floral.

In all, our visit was fantastic. The food was on point and the beer checked all the boxes. If you find yourself in the Portales area, drop in and give them a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Great food and we always get the pizza because it is awesome. I just hope they distribute the toppings a little better because yesterday we ordered a pepperoni, onion, bell peppers and mushrooms and two of our slices only had one pepperoni.

Delicious, plenty of vegetarian options, and wonderful staff.
We had a needy table of 6 and Alexis was our waitress and did a great job. All the staff was really nice and the Greek salad, truffle fries, and artichoke dip were delicious.

Fantastic craft brew and perfect pizza! I've been visiting this place for the past few years. The beer is absolutely fantastic and always a good selection. Then the pizza, always fresh ingredients, good portions, and quality cooking. My only complaint is they need to make it bigger! You better have a reservation for Friday or Saturday nights.

Great food and service. We had two pizzas a standard pepperoni and a half and half of habanero and pulled pork and peppercini and pepperoni. Both pizzas were excellent. We both had each of the stouts which were good as well. Nice atmosphere and will be returning when I come back through.

We are in challenging times no doubt but Roosevelt Brewing Company gives us a sense of normalcy with delicious food. Had the 4 pig pizza and cheesy garlic bread today with a few additions and it was so good. Easy to order online and curbside delivery was awesome. Thank you for being here for us and I look forward to a proper dine in experience when able.

This place blew us away...very cool renovated spot in the downtown area. The building (...wood floors and stamped tin ceiling appear to be original) are part of a retro/modern look that is perfect. The food (...best Greek salad we’ve had anywhere and outstanding wood fired pizza) were amazing...plus the onsite brewery and NM wine selection!!! One of the best beers I’ve had in a long time...actually two to make sure!!! The atmosphere and our waiter were great...I would recommend making a reservation (..which we did) or you are going to wait on a Friday or Saturday night.
