We came here and had a great meal as a family. The burgers were cooked perfectly. They had a nice charbroiled flavor. The guy helping us even put the game we wanted to watch on.

Dive Bar in a good way. Very friendly staff and the burger was great. It's small inside, first come for seating. There is plenty of outdoor seating. It was a little chilly to sit outside. We sat at the bar (small). Should be a fun place in the warmer months.

Just love love the vibe here and you can’t beat the colorful personalities of the people behind the bar. Food is perfectly fine and schooners of beer do the trick. Music is loud and fun, with a range that keeps the teenagers and adults in the party happy. So much more character than some of the newer, more sterile places in town.

5 stars bc it embraces what it is and nothing more than that. I’ll start by saying the negative reviews on here need some expectation management. This is a local, hole in the wall bar and burger joint. And it’s awesome. Fries are divine (we ordered a large, hand for scale) and the burgers are cooked perfectly. Schooners are cold and add to the experience. The walls are littered with everything and anything under the sun and they have signs making it clear of the vibes. Best no frills burger joint in town.

I've been coming here since 1999 & nothing has changed. The food is great, the outdoor seating is casual & the perfect place to enjoy something to eat & drink after a hike or bike.

This place is a classic. No-frills, delicious burgers in a perfectly kitschy eccentric space. The service is friendly and appropriately offbeat. Great selection of draft beers - make sure to get the 32 ounce, which is basically served in a fishbowl. Because why not??

This place is like stepping into a time capsule from the 70s. I was told everything was original except for the fryer! Even the guy next to me was watching a football game from the 70s on his iPad. Can’t even make that up.

Burger was delicious and the 32 oz beer schooners are definitely a novelty. Pricing is fair and if you sit at the bar you can chat it up with the cooks and bartender. Everyone was full of local tips.

This place has the best chicken burger in the entire US.
The best part is their chicken patty is fire grilled.
The price is decent and the burger comes with fries.

I love a good flame-kissed burger, and here is where you can get a good one! Very casual atmosphere, friendly vibes, recommend everyone eathere at least once while in Ketchum.

This is THE best burger in Idaho. One of the best I've ever had. When in Ketchum you should get a steak at the Pioneer and you must get a burger at Grumps. Flame grilled perfection! Can't wait to get back!

Came in after a day of skiing and this is just a great spot. Oozes local character, and is an unpretentious spot to knock back some drinks and have a burger. The food hit the spot after working up an appetite on the mountain. The burgers were freshly prepared to order, and it came with a big order of fries. Staff was funny and the kind of folks you know take good care of the locals (and they were plenty nice to us as well). If you are out in Sun Valley, head on down to Grumpy's for a fun night.

When they ask if you want bacon or ham on your burger, just say yes. The negative reviews crack me up. Yes, blame the bar for your poor decisions. You know what you get walking through the door. Eat it and love it!!! Just a splash, please.

Love the Schooner. ("Bowl of loudmouth soup"!) Albeit costs same as a 6 pack of good IPA. Lol

Super perfect burger charred to perfection. Big fat juicy tomatoe with chopped up lettuce. The service is awesome. The beers are huge and amazing!!

Now THIS is an establishment. Grumpy’s is a must if you like damn delicious burgers, the friendliest and sassiest (in the best way) staff, and downright authentic Ketchum vibes. We can for my birthday in February, brought my 2 year old nephew and had a roaring good time. 10 out of 5 stars for grumpys.
