Michel's Christiania

We sat on the patio and the weather was perfect. The tomatoes on the caprese salad were perfect. My entree was delicious and the dessert was decadent. We sat and enjoyed the weather and our conversation after dinner and did not feel unwelcome or rushed. Great experience.

Andy was an amazing, attentive server. Beautiful space. We each had the wild caught salmon. Cooked to perfection. The cous cous was the right consistency. I substituted spinach for the green beans. Not bitter. Would definitely go back. You can definitely tell an establishment with high-caliber employees. Well done!

We were seated by a very friendly host. The food came very quickly. The crepe appetizer, lamb shank entre and custard desert were unbelievably flavorful, greatly presented, and had excellent texture. One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had!

Jeremy, the bartender, and his son are excellent! Michel the owner is very personable and sweet. The food is amazing! My favorite was the apple tart with ice cream dessert. Beautiful presentation and perfect ending to an amazing dinner.

Great service.. food was delicious. The Escargot yummy. Ate at the bar.. Just walked in and got a table. If you have room for dessert.. Try the Chocolate Molten Cake. So rich you gotta share.

Take a step into the French Alps. Art & photography was top notch . Clams & Veal Chop as good as I’ve had anywhere . Service was welcoming and pleasant .

Service was excellent as was the food. Scallops in lobster sauce were the special. My wife loved it. I had the trout, equally delicious. Molten chocolate cake for dessert did not disappoint, neither did the iced tea. Will be back!

I wish everyone would stop asking if I'm ok. I know I don't eat at restaurants like this normally but I'll find something I like. The trout was very good.

Absolutely hands down go and eat here, it’s not just dinner - it will be an experience. The setting is beautiful, service superb, food of exceptional quality. Prices very reasonable, especially if you compare to Vintage nearby who charge double with less service and not good food.

This is the #1 place on our list to go in downtown for dinner. French food at it's best. Their goat cheese salad is a must. Their oysters were so big and fresh, I could have eaten it with fork and knife! The meat is cooked to perfection and the chocolate desert is mouthwatering. Not to be missed!

Continental cuisine in a ski-lodgey room. Service is top notch and friendly. As everything in Ketchum, the menu is spendy.

We have dined at Michel’s Christiania many times over the years. It you want a fine dining experience in the Sun Valley/Ketchum area this is one of the finest in an area that has many very fine restaurants. It is our favorite place to go, whether it is for a salad and steamed clams with a bottle of wine on a Friday night after arriving in town or for our anniversary dining on the patio in July. The food, service and wine are all the finest. It has a great location, great atmosphere and architecture, great food and great people from owner, to chefs, to hosts and wait staff.

Only sat at the bar and tried the French onion soup. The soup was good. Nice bread and very cheesy. Broth was good, but not the most flavorful I've had. But the service was quite good. Both guys we spoke to at the bar we're nice and talkative and helpful. I'd go back for dinner if I ever find myself in Ketchum again.

Had an outstanding French meal here. These are the classic dishes, and the restaurant features celebrity photos and autographs -- a genuine piece of history. Beautiful and relaxing setting.
