Matt did an amazing job at boot fitting. He is very knowledgeable and happily did multiple revisions until it fit correctly.

My 3 yr old Salomon boots purchased at another shop in another town needed re-fitting – here’s what happened.

I started out Sunday morning at the N. Main St. location and Kailey (spelling?) did a great job bumping out the shell of my right boot – finally my inside right ankle wasn’t bruised at the end of a ski day. When I asked her what I owed her she said, “nothing – that was a pretty simple fix” (for her!) and so I gave her a tip to at least take care of her lunch.

The next day I came back because now my left ankle was jealous – and bruised. Seth (I think) got started on my left boot, bumped it out, added a pad because the liner had become packed at the ankle and when I asked what I owed he said, “whatever Kailey charged you” – so…another lunch tip 😊 (“$2 per toe!”).

The third day my left ankle still wasn’t quite happy so as encouraged by Seth I skied to the Warm Springs location near the slopes and the manager there took care of me late in the day and tweaked the boot again – almost perfect but not quite.

After two more days of skiing I was almost ready to NOT ski on my last day due to residual bruising on my left ankle when I decided to take the bus (my ankle was too sore to ski) over to Warm Springs and – TA DA – Deane worked on the left boot one more time and now it’s PERFECT! I hadn’t skied pain free in so long the feeling was incredible – I still wanted to take more laps when the lifts closed. Again – no charge from Deane – and one more lunch tip 😊.

Service from Sturtevants was superb - could not have been better. I'd trust them for anything - new boots, new skis, to housesit while we're on vacation...thank you!

A buddy and I needed some minor repairs to our bikes after a ride, and even though they were closing and had a wait list to service bikes, they stayed after closing time to make the repairs for us. Super cool!! Solid work, fair prices. I can't state how impressed I was with them. I would definitely go back to Sturtevants if I'm back in the area.

Absolutely amazing service. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable on where to ride the bikes they rent. The bicycles were in brand new condition and performed without flaw. The check in process is extremely simple. The prices are very reasonable as well. I highly recommend “Sturtevants of Sun Valley” if you visit Sun Valley and want to rent bikes.

Great people and great experience. I brought a bike in on a busy day and they got right on it. We also rented some mountain bikes while there and the crew got us set up and fitted quickly. They recommended some trails for us and hooked us up with spare tubes and puncture kits. I'd definitely be back if it were my local shop.

Much gratitude to Chris and Chad for their knowledge and stellar customer service during my first trip to Sun Valley. I needed to rent a gravel bike for the RPI event and they made sure I had a bike that was safe and tweaked to my specific body and gear. They went above and beyond when I ended up only using the bike for trail tests, and was unable to participate in the ride due to injury recovery. It was a crushing situation for me in many ways having traveled from the east coast. Their acts of kindness helped to less the blow of the situation. I highly recommend Sturtevants for all your cycling and ski/snowboarding needs. They are a valuable asset to their community and visitors alike!

Just got into town & finished my first day on the bike & ended up having some issues. Bottom bracket needed replacing, derailer needed work, etc. I call into the shop, Chavez answered & said swing by. Said he knows how it feels to need your bike on a trip so worked me in & after a short walk through town, the bike was ready to roll. Couldn’t have asked for a better shop & mechanic!

A very good experience. Granted, I dropped some coin getting set up w ski boots, bindings and skis. They were very helpful from the first phone call trying to locate specific ski/binding set up. The boot fitting process was great. While a very busy shop (Ketchum) they were attentive and responsive during the entire process. Highly recommend.

Needed an urgent brake repair during my visit and they got my non-standard (Hope) brake back in shape with no material change to my schedule! Great, friendly service at a reasonable price. Expectations most certainly exceeded. I’ll be back. Thanks guys!!

Great shop! Rented mountain bikes for the week and geared up for camping. Bikes were top of the line, but the staff is where this store really shined! Thank you to all for the camping, fishing, and biking recommendations! We will be back for sure.

David was eager to assist me in working on my bike seat, also adjusted my breaks. To my surprise, was able to properly tune my bike to bring me a new exceptional riding experience ! Thank you! Y'all rock

I had some boot work done by Peter recently and couldn't be happier with the results -- he is a master of his trade, knew the equipment inside and out, and worked with me to find a good solution to the issue I had.

I had a wonderful shopping experience at Sturtevants. Maria was a fantastic help finding the right hiking shoes for me, and some clothing items. I love the options at this store and the 100% cotton. I felt at "home" and comfortable while shopping. I plan to return before I leave Ketchum.

Finally a pair of ski boots for my feet without pain.. Keeley worked with me on fitting me into just the right boot...no more pain on the old bone spore..comfort and performance. She is a wizard. Thank you!

Seth was super helpful - I live in McCall and needed a part for my Fischer boot. He went out of his way to figure out what I needed and shipped it to me! Great service.

Great place to buy and rent skis and other winter equipment. I have grown up in Ketchum most my life and think it's a nice place to check out the latest gear. Btw for sick ski content follow shred_pro7 on instagram.
