Drive Thru atmosphere is beautiful! Love all the welded 🌵☀ Cacti! The workers at the window are so friendly and helpful. And the food was fresh and delicious. Got the All American and Green Chili Cheese Burgers with cheesey tater tots and drinks coconut 🥥 sweet teas! 👍👍

Great soft tacos and coconut sweet tea. Never had coconut sweet tea and it is out of this world good. If you're ever in Portales this is a must stop! Music is too loud.

It's all pretty good a lil expensive but service was great! Drive they to say .

I have to share how I feel about this restaurant. Amazing!!! I was stationed at Cannon AFB back in the day and I had a home in Portales. I love, love, love nearly everything over ever eaten from there and the drinks are 😍. I'm hoping to come in for the Balloon Festival this year and I'll most definitely be coming down. I just wished you shipped. Jk 💛

Love the Coconut Sweet Tea. That's the only reason I go there! The only thing putting taco box at a disadvantage is their prices. They are ridiculous. 6$ for a mini sized cheese sticks. There's 4 to a mini order and that to me is expensive! Did I mention I love the Coconut Sweet Tea? Yum!!

I just went here for the first time ever. Ordered a steak Quesadilla with a coconut sweet tea. I went to put the tea in the cup holder and the lid popped off spilling tea all over the inside of my car. The girl at the window immediately replaced the tea and the manager came out to help me clean my car out. I would have never received this kind of service at any other fast food restaurant. Thomas even took my floorboard carpet and sprayed it off, offering to pay to have my car cleaned. Talk about above and beyond! Thank you guys, very much! I’ll definitely be back….oh, and the food was great along with the coconut sweet tea!

We were driving through northern New Mexico and saw this place had great reviews so decided to try it. OH MY GOODNESS please expand up to Michigan!! Collectively we had a chicken chimi (yum but very rich with the cream cheese), pork carnitas flautas (the best I've ever had!!), and cheddar fries (tots with melted cheese). If we're driving through Portales again this will be a must stop!!

Very Good. Always Awesome food, fresh and homemade quality! Thirst quenching drinks, and Top notch Customer Service. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a excellent meal at a reasonable price... They also have a new loyalty program, that gives you lots of offers, and discounts. Open daily 7:30 AM to 10 PM. No matter what time you go you’ll find a smiling face willing to serve you! 👍🏻

OH...MY....YUMMMMM!! I got to try this little piece of heaven while visiting in Portales....twice, actually! I could have ate there every day! The food portions are generous for the reasonable prices. Everything I tried was great and the staff were friendly too. I love supporting local restaurants and can't wait to come back to visit again!

I love the service I got from the manager, Bianca, she definitely needs a raise and this company would be wise to hang onto her. Overall the food was EXCELLENT. Keep up the good work everyone who works there. You're doing a fine job!!!

I could drink a 50 gallon drum of the coconut sweet tea - tacos and quesadillas are excellent - we stop here every time we go through Port - Thanks - see ya soon

We are visiting from Waco, TX with part of our youth group on our mission trip. Taco Box was recommended by the locals. It didn't disappoint! I had the Baja Burrito with steak and it was great! My son said it was the best Mexican food he's ever had. We'll be back for sure next time we're here!

Taco Box serves excellent fare! The employees are great. The prices are VERY reasonable. It's clean, and the atmosphere is wonderful! Try a green chili cheeseburger! Excellent! Tried a chicken burrito another night. Yummy!

Pricey but what isn't these days. Place is popular and stays pretty busy. Fast service. Staff are friendly. Food is outstanding!
