Employees were cheerful and ready to help out. The food was surprisingly good. I was expecting to be disappointed but the food was tasty and cooked perfectly.

I like this place. I ate there twice. Always the same. People are really nice and the food is well priced. Recommend the avocado rice.

Amazing Thai cuisine and sushi! I visit here when I can because the Clovis location no longer serves sushi. The New Mexico Roll is amazing!

Great place to get sushi. But there is tons of other great food here. My wife loves their boba teas. My daughter loves their sweet and sour chicken. I personally love their bento boxes. The bazooka rolls is phenomenal along with their avocado rolls. We would highly recommend that you visit Thai city for a meal and enjoy your self while there.

Favorite sushi place in Portales. I especially loved the curries, pad tai, and sushi. It hit the spot. This as good as back home I feel! The owner is super nice too!

You may not think there could possibly be good sushi in Portales but there is! Love the bazooka roll and really anything else. Their boba teas are delicious. So are the crab boils. If you like rice dishes try the bankers special!

This is the best Thai city in the area! I get lunch here at least once a week and everything I’ve tried has been so good. The staff is very friendly and the wait times are minimal for take out! They have a big menu, including sushi!

I stopped at Thai City while I was driving through Portales. I must say that my visit was nothing but positive. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I had my meal ordered and brought to my table within 8 minutes maybe shorter but definitely not longer. I ordered the combination fried rice no veggies and it was made spot on. Quantity was large. The plate has somewhat of a bowl underneath so the picture does not give it justice.
In a side note I have heard if the bathroom is not clean than neither is the kitchen. The bathroom was very clean. I will stop by Thai City next time I am driving through Portales again.

The food was fantastic. Absolutely loved it. The wait staff was super nice, the dr.pepper was crisp, and the crawfish sushi was freakn awesome. Along with the crab stuff jalapenos. Just blow away at the way they do flavor. Definitely going back. If you haven't been guys you gata try it........

I almost always get sushi or the seafood boils when I go here. I’m hardly ever disappointed as the sushi is pretty consistent. I absolutely love the salmon sashimi and the fuji roll. I just can’t get enough!!!

My husband and I had dinner there last week for the very first time. We really enjoyed our dinner our service was great and we will go back again.

The food here is outstanding and there is a wide variety of Asian Cuisine provided. The sauces for each dish are quite different and extremely tasty. It's such a joy to have an excellent , flavorful dining option available in this Eastern New Mexico community.

Best place in Portales. My boyfriend and I ate here this afternoon. My boyfriend is half Asian so I wanted him to taste his "motherland". The place was empty. Very quiet. Clean. The guy serving us was respectful and honest. I ordered a thai tea and refills were charged. He explained that to me before he brought me another. The food was spicy and wonderful. I went to the restroom and it was so nice and warm. The handsoap was warm too. The prices are very high. Other than that it was awesome.
